Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI believe Laguna Garden has to improve variety of food they offer in all inclusive package . I stayed for 7 days and there were approx 10 different dishes, for lunch and dinner. Compared to other resorts around the world it is quite behind. For example Los Cabos - there were more 300 dishes to choose from.
Laguna Garden is located in the heart of Albena, in close proximity to the beach. In the last 30 years Albena has transformed in a beautiful resort. It has forest just behind last building , has lots of trees and parks inside. Temperature is always within tolerable comfort zone. Resort is not overbuild as the rest of the black resorts and it provides best opportunities for a lovely holiday.

United KingdomAs above
Room was excellent, shower room was clean, the reception area was all clean and nice.breakfast was very good and restaurant was clean. We asked for 2 rooms. The receptionist could not put us next to each other. The food was awful for dinner. There were 2 types of pork for main course but no chicken. We do not eat pork. The fish was with white sauce that was no good. Please see other hotels what they offer for 4 star hotels and learn a lesson. I have seen much better service in other hotels in Europe. Thanks

United KingdomBy the tourism standards the hotel is not a 4 star one. It's a 3 star the most. Food was ok, although in limited variety. Rooms are bit old, probably a refurbishment is overdue for some time. No other entertainment programmes, as one would expect at an all inclusive 4star accommodation.
The free private beach with two sun loungers and parasol, although without a bar like Laguna Beach Hotel nearby, is a plus. Free pool with sun loungers and a little snack bar with ice cream and pizza. The hotel is near the beach, five minutes walk. Parking is hassle free, with enough places in the hotel area (10 BGN/day will be paid at the end of your stay).

Romaniapremises are very old and not updated / renovated, new hotels are in the second line wet smell all over the hotel pool dirty and not functional no pool bar no beach bar far enough from the beachfront - not stated in the presentation clearly I succeeded to obtain my legal fiscal invoice on behalf of the company as paid for, only after I threatened the lady from the HQ email address to bypass her and go directly to the general manager asking him to fire her, eventually it took her 5 minutes to reply and do the invoice properly
place ok if you want to quietly relax and do nothing, except staying on the beach, eat and sleep food was ok, not spectacular but surprisingly well cooked, enough to eat daily good beach area with free sunbeds and umbrella the guy at the reception seemed kind at the check-in but proved not to give a s_ _t at the check-out: refused to bother to issue the invoice and send us to '' HQ'' for a request via email

RomaniaAlbena is one of the few remaining unspoiled traditional resorts: great beach, not overcrowded and free of noisy music... Lots of green space between hotels/no later chaotic construction in between... Great classic evening promenade...

GermanyIn general the resort has good potential but is missing investments. The hotel was not restored for many years and looks horible. All inclusive doesn't worth the money because the food is very bad.
Albena is a nice location with good potential. Hotel pool is great for family with kids.

RomaniaThe "drinks" that are available for "all inclusive" are of very poor quality. Soft drinks are terrible. Mostly flavoured water. No access to real drinks like sodas and bottled drink. Beer and wine was good. Everything else was terrible. The rooms are not very clean. The cleaning lady doesn't speak english, so it is hard to ask for anything. Floor cleaning was not done when we arrived, and most of the time, the cleaning was done while we were in the room. No privacy! NO WIFI IN THE ROOM! At a 4 star hotel? Wifi available only at receptions and restaurant.
The view is very nice. All rooms have a sea view. Afternoon and evening food was good. The chefs do a great job to provide meals, even when the hotel restaurant is crowded with travelers. Small garden is a nice plus. Plenty of roses. Beach is really close, with access to umbrellas and seats on the beach.
