Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was all lovely but my fault not asking if there was a lift to the upper floors. I was booked in for an operation at the local hospital the next morning and found it a little tricky getting up the stairs. Not the hotel's fault though, this is just to remind other users.
Very pretty hotel, clean and comfortable room, excellent dinner and wine in the evening. Staff lovely and helpful, it was all perfect for our needs. Thank you

The staff was very kind and helpful. From the moment of the arrival until departure, they were excelent! The bulgarian breakfast was absolutely delicious and very very tasty, and hosted on garden next to the hotel For visitint Burgas, i highly recommend it. Close to the beach, and city restaurants.

The mattress was too soft and weird shaped.

There is no soundproofing on the rooms - it was terrible to hear loud neighbours till late at night.

Very thin walls in the hotel rooms, no mini fridge.
Very friendly staff, clean and good food. 24hr Reception & Bar service. Location good for road access, large carpark and only a couple of minute walk to the Sea Garden.

Seems the building lacks soundproofing, lots of noises heard. Neighbors slamming doors, cars passing by, staff cleaning around was all but a good background for an afternoon rest.
The room was very clean, featuring a nice view of the Bourgas bay. The staff was polite and responsive; the breakfast was tasty and served with a smile:-)

Breakfast menu, not too big in choice, but not a big deal especially for people who don't usually have breakfast at all. Noise from the street, which is a main connection road to key tourist destinations, was too loud even windows closed.
Breakfast was "Å la carte" style, everything was fresh and delicious. Location is perfect. Parking spaces available. Right next to Burgas sea garden, which is excellent for people who enjoy long walks. Friendly and cooperative staff.

Breakfast could have been better. Location is not very near the centre, but with public transport it was not a problem for us:)
Very clean hotel, everyday they clean up the room, change towels, take the trash. Staff is very nice. Overall great hotel:)

Rooms with balconies to the main street suffer from night noise, although windows are sealed. 30min walks from the city center, busses not on the corner, but beaches are very close.
Easy check-in and helpful pick-up from the airport in the middle of the night. Room had everything as mentioned and the bathroom was very clean. Service good, good breakfast to choose from several options. Bicycle to hire and also space to store own ones.

the towels were pretty thin and looked dirty, it’s not that close to the beach if this is the reason for your stay and the breakfast is not served as we are used to you have to pick it a day in advance with a fixed hour and you can only get a sandwich/ omlette/ cereals with milk/ french toast but what we’ve chosen was pretty tasty
the room was pretty big and nicely decorated, we had two large windows but no balcony, the ac worked really well, the water pressure was high, the bathroom was really spacious and clean but i haven’t seen any ventilation system so it got quite steamy in there, free parking and also we arrived pretty late around 10 pm, 5 minutes before the kitchen was closing and they still served us warm cooked food, very nice staff!
