Excellent family-run villa! The location is gorgeous and serene. The room was spacious and clean with a breathtaking view of the Red rocks. The food was delicious, the staff was very kind and accommodating. Wonderful authentic people!

The only thing which people have to have in mind is the road to the place. As soon as you head to the vila when you get out of the city there are approx 2 kilometers of unpaved road. Of course, driving to the place with a SUV or high suspension car is not a problem, but any low vehicles might have a problem.

The place is in the mountain which makes it very quiet and peaceful. The staff was wonderful and also very assistive. The bed was huge and the view from the room was more than brilliant.

The breakfast was homemade and delicious! We had also our lunch and dinner there and they were also very delicious. The trout was exceptional. We were on a little hike on the was to mount Cherven and tasted the forest blackberries :) We were with two little kids and we're surprised that the toilet is equipped for kids. Also there were some coloured pencils and markers that our little boy enjoyed:) This cottage is highly recommended!

The road to the property is a bit scaring for first-time visitors, however the property offers transportation service from/to the City.

Very nice villa far from the city, actually in the heart of the Mountain. Wild nature around, including lake, small river, beautiful nature. Fresh and delicious food in the local Restaurant, prepared in place and according to individual preferences. Very reasonable prices.

Acces road .

Amazing place, quiet, not very much food options, but enough for a holiday and very tasty. (anyway the host is flexible and can offer more options). Fish (trout) is a must to try ! In any way... Petra (the host) was amazing. She works hard to please all the tourists and she does it very well! Thank you Petra !

Don’t expect to get a great wifi signal in deep mountain area - enjoy the relaxation.

It feel like you are at home but you don’t need to cook or clean after yourself. The fresh fish from their own fish farm is amazing and everything they cook for you is delicious. Location is deep in the forest and air is crystal clean. The walks around and the trek to the peak are wonderful, revealing breathtaking views. Truly relaxing.

The hotel has a marvellous position above the town of Teteven, nestling in wonderful scenery. Pure nature at the end of a very stony track that could not be used by a low slung car like a sports car. Milena was a superb, friendly and warm-hearted host who helped us greatly with our planning, using her enormous knowledge of the area. An unforgettable stay at a lovely hotel!

Fishing lake is extremely small ( caught 5 fish within 5 min) Slow WiFi, or no WiFi in our room. Nothing to do in the neighbourhood. Boardgames, tabletennis, bicycles would be a nice alternative for families with children. Too far (20 min off road!) from the village. All expenses only CASH.

- Cold rooms with insufficient heating. Not recommended for the winter. - Limited availability of hot water in the evening and no hot water in the morning. - No mobile network coverage. - Wi-fi quality is very poor. Most of the time there is no connection to the internet. - Extremely bad road. One would need a tall and reliable car. I would not imagine it being accessible when there are heavy rains or snow. - Staff not wearing facemasks or checking for vaccination certificates.

I did not catch a cold despite of the cold room. I have managed to get back to the paved road without damaging my car, but that still costed me a lot of efforts and stress.
