The breakfast service and menu were quite variable during our stay. Given the excellent food and service everywhere else in the resort I will assume there was some temporary glitch in the morning routine

The staff, the beautiful location, and the room were all wonderful. Could not have been happier with this romantic get-away. The resort is arranged to maximize the feeling of calm and quiet. We felt extremely well cared for and rested after just a few days here. We had a rental car that we used to do some exploring (especially restaurants) on the island but really could have done without--rides to and from the beach were terrific. The beach was not as described in older reviews but it was, nonetheless, a treat.

Waiting 90 minutes for fries and cheese. Then receiving congealed lukewarm fries covered with microwave melted cheese.

Beautiful resort for a tranquil adult only experience. Great staff who can't do enough. Lovely little touch to be chauffeured to a private beach and to enjoy the sun, sea, sand and wonderfully attentive services of De Marco.

Not much. Taxis are very expensive but we hired a car which made the stay much more flexible. It’s in the nicer quieter part of the island but there isn’t a huge amount to do outside of the property. Prices are high everywhere but I suppose that is to be expected in The Bahamas. Gets very busy at the weekend with the members and their young children.

A beautiful boutique hotel with large room and gorgeous bathroom. The pool area was very comfortable and the beach was also very pretty and secluded. Loved the fitness classes but be sure to book into them!

Amazing hotel in a secluded area. The restaurants were all fantastic especially the Italian and Thai restaurants. The staff were exceptional. There is a private car service to the hotels private beach (5 minute drive). The beach is stunning and we had it to ourselves most days. The pool area was great with very comfy sunbeds.

fresh brewed coffee offered from 5am -- not the sad coffee in the rooms, but freshly brewed in a central place When swimming at night -- the pool experience would be measurably enhanced if the pool -- particularly the end of the pool, which is dark, was lit.

The location means it’s quite away from other restaurants and resorts if you want to go out and taxi fairs are expensive

The Island house is perfect for those who like a really chill bohemian vibe away from all the hustle and bustle. It has 2 great restaurants Thai and Italian and its own cinema!

The phone in the room was not working and the TV did not work half-way through the trip, but neither really bothered us.

Resort amenities are top-notch, service was excellent, and restaurants were wonderful. The perfect place for rest & relaxation. I especially loved the movement studio and fitness classes offered. I even had the opportunity to attend a breath work & meditation workshop, free of charge.

I came to celebrate my birthday and I had the best birthday of my life. The staff was absolutely amazing and was extremely toughtful to make this day very special!!! A complimentary bottle of wine has been gifted in my hotel room with a birthday card! The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are amazing. Everything has been designed to relax and enjoy the stay. The food was phenomenal and the restaurants were gorgeous.

the price of restaurants in the hotel are high and there are not many places walking distance that you can go to.

The place is amazing and gives you access to the beach club which is a beautiful and long private beach. It is very expensive, but with the prices in Nassau, if you enjoy luxury and quiet, you are better off investing a bit more and staying here instead of noisy and busy resorts
