Our room was too hot for comfort and the radiator's knob would not fully turn it off. That meant lack of sleep sadly until we decided to leave the window open which helped, bu then it translated into loud building works noise from very early in the morning.

Extremely close to the gondola - super easy to get to the slopes. The food at the restaurant was very good too. We tried a couple other restaurants but came back to this.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable. We were at -2 floor and in the room in the corner so view was limited to Eiger, was slightly disappointing but still nice.

Staff is very sweet and kind, we were arriving with my boyfriend quite late to the hotel, and as it was my boyfriend's birthday, they I pre-ordered some food and prosecco, they set it all up for us. Great location. Very nice dinner and fondue.

Offers a sauna but it was off when trying to use it at7:00pm. Front office staff ends their day at 6:00 so restaurant staff in charge and we’re already over extended helping dinner guests. The sauna must be turned on in the office per the note in the sauna room.

The breakfast is very basic & there was a bit of salmon, which finished 1.5h before closing the buffet exactly when we arrived. We asked for refill as we don’t eat meat and we’re told that the amount was pre given and there is no refill. Only vegetable was tomatoes.. I don’t eat cheese either, so my option for food was a boiled egg and some tomatoes as I don’t eat Milch ( so no Joghurt, Müsli etc..) gluten-free is not an option too.. I didn’t see any lactose free Milch, but I didn’t ask. Fruits were apples and oranges plus ready fruit salad I guess from the can. Our room was a bit loud as it was first floor and we heard ppl passing on the street and ppl going past on the stairs. The construction site next to the hotel might be a problem, but we were there over the weekend.

Location, restaurant terrace, but not choice of food even the menu Fächers no fish or chicken and it’s in my view super basic, but there are many restaurants around.. The value for money compared to other hotels I saw on booking. The overnight prices were much higher The staff super friendly and helpful

Our room was above the restaurant which meant noise until late, and early and the smell of smoke coming into our room. The room was very basic - the bathroom was also basic.

Location and views are amazing. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was tasty for dinner and breakfast was great. The staff is very good.

Both myself and the person behind me in line at checkout were told we had not prepaid when we actually had. Hostess could not make our card work and 'required' one of us to stay behind while the other went up the road to a cash machine as if we would leave without paying. Payment had to be in Swiss francs. The prepayment had worked, and at first they wanted us to dispute it with the credit card company. Then she tried to give back the cash we had just paid 11 € to convert to Swiss francs, and would have had to pay again to convert back since we were leaving Switzerland. Hostess treated us as if we had done something wrong when they had our payment all along. Same thing happened to person behind me in line, and hostess denied it.

we got lucky the construction workers took off a few days when we were staying at the hotel. They started working the morning we checked out. It would have been a bad experience we had construction going on all day.

The reception lady is pretty unfriendly and guest orientation certainly missing! This would make a big difference, not everyone should be in such a role, Personnel at the restaurant a little overstressed. It would be nice to have some more locals in business

We have stayed here before and we love the hotel especially having a balcony and spectacular view. Staff were very accommodating. The hotel had warned us that the hotel was in off season shut down. They invited us to stay anyway. They made it as comfortable as possible in the circumstances.

The family room we stayed in had very dated decor and no view. Extremely overpriced… considering there is no view from the room and everything in the room is so old.
