Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

(+)Friendly and super informative staff. Also flexible to prepare us breakfast in the morning before the official time. Room spacious and comfy. 5 min from the bus station. Sauna incl. Spectacular breakfast! Flexible check out.

Location is very central. Clean hotel with comfortable rooms and views. Breakfast was good with good varieties. Staff / Owner not only very helpful but also very understanding.

it was such a great holiday at hotel dala. Manuela was really helpful in every step we want to take. the room was spacious and the view was amazing. the breakfast was delicious, and there were lots of options you can choose. the room service was good. NeXT time we ll definitely stay at hotel dala. Dankeschön für alles:)

There is a cattle with tea, coffee, sugar & biscuits. I'd prefer an espresso machine in the room.
The hospitality is superb. Manuela manages the place with a lot of care and is super attentive to the customer's needs. We felt the staff provided us with a VIP service ( it's our first time at the hotel ).

Spent a night in Hotel Dala in the very last of our trip in Switzerland. Manuela was the nicest, introduced the town for us, we can all feel her love for this place. The room was clean and spacious, had everything we needed and the view of the mountains was spectacular. Leukerbad was definitely worth a visit after a long trip. Can't wait to be back next time in summer. P.S. stay healthy cute little Sämi :)

It was perfect.
We chose Hotel Dala for our anniversary celebration and were delighted with the choice we made. It was superb from the minute we entered the property and the owner ensured a smooth check-in for us and helped us with activities and things we could do in the town. The room even had a note wishing us a happy anniversary and some chocolates. I love that there is a tea station in the room, something I have rarely seen in Swiss hotels. The breakfast spread was wide and worth the money. We will definitely go back to Hotel Dala.

The room's wall were not totally sound proof but it was not too big of an inconvenience, and I still had a comfortable night
Nice view and emplacement, close to the bus station and baths. - Very nice personal and one friendly bird. - The food in the morning was also good, and there was a nice variety of choices (and some aromat !) - The room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable, I had a very good sleep.

we were told that leukerbad Therme is included in the price but we had to to pay €28 per person when we reached. the lady on the desk in the hotel has no idea about the pass or card

A small fridge would be useful.
Superb Host, very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast, high quality and good choices. Great beds and linen. Large balcony and comfortable outdoor furniture. Dala exceeded our expectation and we come again.
