I arrived very early, around 11 am from Zermatt, and was extremely tired. Check-in is at 3 pm,but they accommodated me right away, and I was very thankful for that. The staff is great and very welcoming, I also requested additional days, and they were pleased to accommodate me again as well. I really appreciated that since I'm from California and the time change had me thrown way off,I needed the extra rest before going out and adventuring again.

Beautiful views from the patio. Being south facing the rooms get a little warm during the summer and I didn’t see a fan. No refrigerator so plan according. Great hosts and great food!

Unexpectedly poor breakfast for any standards. Outdated furniture, outdated room, outdated small bathroom with no storage closet/room, everything is outdated (in general). No socket on one side of the bed (a must these days). Too heavy duvet, I had t remove it (one should adapt the linen and duvet to season/weather conditions). Cheap polyester-like linen.

Breathtaking view from the rooms on the lake side. Clean room, nice terrace, the restaurant for dining after a long day. Good lighting (bed-lamps) and one-side near bed socket. Sufficient storage room. A nice surprise is the open (living) room in the first floor. Good mattresses. Quiet surroundings with distant cowbells giving a nice peaceful feeling.

Überhaupt nights.

This is a family owned business that really knows how to run an inn. I stayed here several times back in the 1980s, and although they have extensively renovated since then, nothing about their hospitality and the amazing view has changed. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The view of the Swiss alps and Lake Thun from the room and terrace are simply extraordinary. Our children were delighted to hand feed the beautiful cows--complete with bells--on the property. The evening meals were delicious and reasonably priced, especially by Swiss standards. I left a t-shirt behind, and they were very gracious about sending it to me.

It was a hot day and the room was a bit difficult to ventilate. Later at night it got much cooler.

Spectacular views over Lake Thun and the snow-capped peaks of Bernese Oberland. Friendly family-run hotel. The menu was limited but the food was excellent.

It is not in the center of anything, except country farms, so if you want somewhere with action, this isn't your place. That said, Thun is handy and Bern, a fairly large city, is about 35 minutes away by car.

This is a nice hotel outside of the city of Thun. The rooms are a nice size with a great shower, comfy beds, and an incredible view of the Alps, and Lake Thun from the balcony. The owner is a lovely woman (who speaks little English) who served breakfast consisting of meat, cheeses, breads, yogurt, juice, and coffee or tea. .If you don't have a car, there is a bus that stops within a short walk that goes into Thun, where train service is available. to Bern and many beautiful sights. The town of Thun is very interesting, also We were visiting friends who lived in Heiligenschwendi, so it worked well for us. It is extremely quiet with the silence being broken only by cow bells. I would certainly stay here again.
