The personnel is extremely kind and helpful, the food was amazing and the location and view is breathtaking. The room is comfy and spacious and decoration is really nice.

Too far from the bus stop. I believe the drives past the end of the drive, perhaps the hotel could negotiate with the buscompany thatvthey drop off by the drive rather than a 10 mins walk from the bus stop. This has been done by many chalets that we have stayed at.

No lunch and for dinner very limited options, also public transport is far, every time either Walk for 10-15 minutes to reach bus or pay tax CHF 25 to go to city centre

It is a lovely hotel. At first we were not really happy with the room we booked but super friendly and helpful staff helped us to upgrade the room and we had an amazing experience, a lovely spacious room with a private bath. Also the house was made in authentic style with vintage furniture. They have a library and saloon, I felt like I'm in the 19th century. Also they presented me with a cake because it was my birthday and I was really touched. The breakfast also was nice and we tried dinner. It was also nice and fulfilling. Better than at some restaurants around. Would love to visit it again

Room was small, sparsely equipped and did not invite to spend time there, but the nice common areas compensate for this somewhat. Shower curtain in the bathroom and lack of thermostat pulled down the experience a bit, but it was very clean.

Nice breakfast, nice overall ambience, clean, warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Dinner option was good value for money. Great view from the hotel. Nice common areas to relax.

Nice little hotel with great balcony view on mountains. Breakfast was good and really liked that they gave us public transportation cards (also could use them on mountain railways) for the time stayed.

If you don't own a car, it's a long walk to the hotel from the nearest bus stops.

It's a vintage property with amazing views. Rooms are nothing great , but It has everything you need for a comfortable night's sleep. It has a nice library with a huge collection of books , a great restaurant and amazing staff to help you plan activities in and around St.Moritz. We pleasantly enjoyed our short stay here.

Breakfast selection was disappointing

We got an upgrade on our room thanks to the helpful receptionist. Wrap round balcony where we heard the cow bells whilst admiring the lake in the distance. The library was a charming room and the history and charitable status was fascinating. Would recommend this room to anyone.

I felt rushed when our party of four arrived. My wife and I didn’t know where our toilet was and other information. The host was friendly but didn’t include everyone. We didn’t care for the toilet being shared and in hallway.

Our stay at the the Hotel CHESA Spuondas was nice. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had many food options.

Delightful character hotel (c. 1927) set in pleasant grounds with a wonderful view. Good breakfast with set dinner (2-3 options). Helpful and attentive staff. Although 2-3 km out of town there is a good bus service within about 10 minutes walk and there is also a walking track into St Moritz.

Place is excellent! Building is from 1927, and it is completly renovated in its original state. It feels like you are in almost 100 years old building….only with everything as new like it was yestarday constructed. Rooms are clean and spacious, bathroom is modern and new, also clean!

We were seated at a corner table in the main dining room, immediately adjacent to a large center table seating approximately 16 guests attending some kind of conference. They were polite and not overly loud, yet their mere presence took over the small dining space. We somehow felt like we wanted to get in, eat, and leave. The advertized nice interaction between guests never truly materialized. The room itself was very plain. It was also located on the 3rd (Swiss 2nd) floor with no elevator, so for those with heavy bags a request for a room on the 2nd (Swiss 1st) floor would be recommended. This is not the best hotel for guests without a car. We were overcharged by the taxi outside the St. Moritz station for the initial ride to the hotel, although the hotel did help arrange a better price for the ride back to the station on our departure.

Staying at Hotel Chesa Spuondas is a relaxing alternative to choosing something in downtown St. Moritz. The gardens and woods are soothing and it's interesting seeing and using the old ground floor public rooms such as the library. One of the gentlemen servers in the dining room was extremely friendly and attentive. The evening meals were small but interesting and tasty. The walk into town took approximately 40 minutes along a very pleasant mountain path.
