The property style was unique, and it was a very good experience staying in a Chalet. The best part was the luggage storage for free just at the ground floor. We enjoyed our stay here with our family and would surely recommend this place for sure. It is very convenient with the station close by and the house was very well equipped. Thanks for hosting our family. This was the best place we stayed in Swizterland for sure.

Bedrooms are enough for 6 people to stay comfortably. The house is very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped you can cook everything. Coop and a small market are so close.

Written instructions were very directive, promised hefty costs for loss of key etc. Staff were actually at our door at 10 am waiting to come in and clean. This seemed unnecessary. We didn’t understand the logic of providing so few supplies. Why not none or enough? We are not going to buy coffee filters and dishwasher tablets for a two day stay!

Property was ready early for us to occupy, with clear directions to find the apartment. Good communications from Matt ahead of our arrival. Having both a washing machine and tumble dryer was appreciated. We were provided with information and maps for Interlaken. Wi-fi worked very well.

The luggage room does not lock, but the opportunity to store luggage in the Interlaken West train station for 5 CHF was very sufficient for us!

Matt is a very kind host, accommodating host. We had a delightful stay. The chalet was nice and perfect for our group of 12 (we were very grateful for the option to add an extra bed!)

The owner was very responsive and helpful. Location was a short walk from Interlaken West train station and the route was flat and smooth, pushing our big luggages was easy. Minutes away there are good Coop supermarket and Migros supermarket that sells ready packed food and groceries. Apartment has a functional kitchen well stock with utensils, microwave, oven, cooker for our needs. Minutes away there is a tourist information centre with very helpful and friendly counters staff who helped us to book our activities. Apartment environment was nice and ideal as a base to explore the region👍🏻.

The apartmen very clean and well equiped Matt Horn the owner also give clear explanation about the facility and rules. The view from the front door was so amazing. The location also can reach by 10 mins walk from interlaken west station. They even provide lugage storage I love swiss and love this apartment as well Hopefuly will visit again and the price still offered as competitive as now :D

Hope you can provide better pillow for the guest. Pillow that you provide is like comforter or quilt is not confortable at all. The knife and scissors all blunt. Kindly provide for group extra tissue roll in the toilet. We stay 6 night with 8 guest but each toilet only have 2 tissue roll. At the toilet bowl if you can provide bidet spray is bonus for the guest.

I check in late night and bit dark at the entrance. Please provide information which chalet guest will put up cause there are a few chalet belong to City Chalet. The driver ever send guest there before and he help me to find my name at chalet entrance. Once you found your name just enter the door and the key is in the chalet. All information is in the bowl on the cabinet, The chalet is nice and kitchen facitilites is good. If you can provide extra pan is excellent. Thank you for providing all our request (rice cooker and fondue Raclette set). We will stay there again if we came with the group. Next visit hope the pillow had change. The surrounding at the chalet is the best. ( grocery shop also sell halal meat, river, old town, walking distance to train station interlaken west & ost, halal restaurant about 4 nearby and bread shop open 6am in morning and etc). Mr Matt Horn reply all the msg very fast and i like his services.

An excellent accommodation in Interlaken. Short walk from Interlaken West train station, near stores and groceries, but still a quiet area. The view from the property is great (you can even see people paragliding). The instruction of the host for luggage deposit and key collection is very clear (they even have marks with your name on to lead you on the correct way). The host is very responsive. A good place to experience a local Swiss chalet.

The location of this property is perfect. Walking distance to the train station, and very near a big Migros grocery and Coop so you can pick up anything that you will need for your trip. Matt and his family were very accommodating. The view from the family room was gorgeous, we all loved walking up to that beautiful scenery. I highly recommend City Chalet to anyone who wants to spend time in Interlaken.
