1. Far from the city center. 2. The hotel is located in an industrial zone. It is very difficult to move without a car. Taxis are very expensive. Public transport was also inconvenient. 3. I arrived at 9:30 in the morning, eager to start my day. Unfortunately, upon entering, I noticed a lack of welcoming smiles at the reception. Undeterred, I settled into the lobby, expecting to wait briefly. However, time passed, and by noon, I found myself still waiting, without any acknowledgment or courtesy extended to me. 4. Upon checking into the room, I noticed there was no liquid soap available near the sink. 5. Positioning the shower cubicle in the corner of the bedroom resulted in a lack of privacy. 6. The room lacks a closet for hanging clothes; instead, there are only five hangers provided. 7. Two days in a row, there were no boiled eggs available at breakfast due to a malfunctioning device or some other issue. 8. The room did not have a fridge. 9. The room felt too cramped given the price.

It's far away from the city center, in industrial zone. Consider to stay here only if you have a car. Public transportation in the area is very weak. No shops around. The price is too high for this location! The shower cabin is inside the room, so your room mate can see your taking a shower through the half blurred glass. It's not always the best option...

I knew what the Budget network of Ibis is. So, there was no surprise to see that small but still functional room. The sound isolation is good, no perfect though. Don't forget to receive your free city ticket (Lausanne Transport Card) for the whole period of stay! Don't expect that they will tell you about this, just ask for it. You can receive it by all accommodations where you pay a city tax in Lausanne.

Heating didn't work, even for a budget hotel I think that is unacceptable if you accept bookings, especially in colder climate seasons.

The hotel allows you to check in at all hours, which is really convenient. The staff is also really quite helpful,professional and efficient.

Bathroom and toilet did not have locks... Kindly put it in all the ibis budget... Rest all was very good..

Actually for long stay the room is too small. Basically it is one small room with a shower cabin fairy properly attached and isolated inside. The wallsocket only fit phone chargers so no laptop. They sell adapter for 25 euro. I wanted to extend my stay but the man said to book at hotel directly for good price with breakfast included. Asking 2 timed for assurances which he confirmed as it is noted in the computer system the next morning wanted to breakfast the girl at the reception said there is no breakfast included and when paying the charge was 15 euro above what was at booking.com. The man was not there and lied.

The interior design and cleanliness

I suggest padding the upper bed’s edge since it’s very easy to hit your head in the dark if you get up for the toilet for example! Also if possible, more vegan options at breakfast…

I always like Ibis budget hotels as they have all what you need, always clean, parking available and all necessities in general :)

The Ibis Budget has met all my expectations in a positive way: clean room, big enough, good temperature, good bed, breakfast buffet absolutely OK. Having the Swiss price level in mind, this Ibis budget offers good value for money, I would use it again.

We needed an adapter to charge our phones and when we asked reception she said it cost 25 swiss francs which I did not expect. Also, the toilet seat in the room did not look very clean but on closer inspection had been cleaned but had some type of stain.

Overall, the room was comfortable and breakfast was reasonably good.
