This was our first time in AlpenGold Davos and definitely not the last. Everything was perfect. I was a little bit worried about some stuff because of the reviews but dont let it fool You - everything was 10/10. The transfers from the ski lift - we could wait for the scheduled bus, so they sent us our own car in 5 minutes. The spa area is amazing, the water is so warm, everything is clean and the stuff is very kind. The breakfast is perfect and everything you ask for from the staff - they bring it to You! My son loved the kids room - he was ready to stay there without me, because the kids room is so beautiful and the women who worked there are perfect with kids. They actually spend all the time with kids and do amazing arts and crafts projects. Thank You so much to all the staff, the stay was really perfect!

There was always a lot of water on the floor in the pool area, which was not so often cleaned up as desired.

The hotel and the room were great, the staff and the breakfast were simply amazing. The spa could improve a bit but overall great as well. Would definitely stay here again.

There were some hiccups with the shuttle service. There is some mold in the bathroom. Three restaurants but one was always not available for reservation.

Some staff weren’t very friendly and would completely ignore me and speak only to my partner. Whilst Spa is great, it’s setup very strangely, going from Sauna to Pool or Pool to steam room is so disjointed.

Awesome location and mountain views, great breakfast spread and free shuttles to the city and ski lifts. Great spa.

In the spa guests block the relax area (bed) by towels or some personal things, while they are in the water/sauna. So in peak hours there is no space left where you can relax. A simple solution like in Burgenstock would resolve this issue, by not allowing guests to block the beds constantly, they should put they personal belongings on a shelf or cabin, so the beds would stay free for the guests who want to relax. It works in other hotels/spas accross Switzerland, I wonder why they don't introduce it, the spa had also a much cleaner look, without people throwing their stuff on each possible bed. It would be a small change, but would make a big difference.

Poor points: - Bar service (understaffed, unprofessional, slow, chaotic) - Spa pool area is quite small considering size of hotel, not equipped for busy times, kids are allowed until 6pm so kills the relaxing vibe (first evening we tried to attend the spa was full, nowhere to sit, so we went back to the room. - Outdoor pool does not really have a scenic view. - We ate in the Italian restaurant the first night, food was very average. My steak was cooked well but vegetables were cold and undercooked. - Breakfast service on Sunday morning was a complete chaos. Queue to be seated. Food ordered from menu took a long time and was cold. Coffee orders (which are from a machine not a barista) took 15-20mins. - The bar food menu is very limited. - Bottle water is 14chf… order tap water!! - There is a free parking outside which was full, underground parking is 25chf per day. Some 5 star aspects but really let itself down in other aspects.

Service, with the exception of the super-competent concierge, the staff at breakfast and the skilled, kind and attentive personnel at Atelier Vert - which is highly recommended in itself! The facilities are great, spa is excellent, room is spacious and well equipped. We arrived on 1st of January - the glitter from the night before was still on the hallway carpets 3 days later... (hard to clean, I know) Davos is great and the Alpengold is one of the newest hotels, so we might be back - but unfortunately we'll think twice, given this experience.

It was our third time there, so we knew what to expect: great facilities and location with mixed quality of service. After this stay it's a close call if it was our last time or not. Concierge and staff at breakfast as well as in the restaurant Atelier Vert were superb - and unfortunately the exception. Reception was outright terrible. Two stories: we arrived exactly 5 minutes before 15:00, after having received 2 reminders that check-in starts at 15:00. Receptionist tells us that our room isn't ready yet. Would we please wait, maybe go for a walk or sit in the bar? Actually, I wanted to go cross-country skiing, but for that I had to change, etc., needed a lot of my stuff that was now with the luggage service. So we wait. At 15:00 I ask again. Still not ready, no further apologies, no welcome drink or anything offered. At 15:15 I ask again. Now the manager comes; room still doesn't appear ready in the system so the two exchange worried looks, but the manager calls housekeeping and the room is actually ready (maybe it was already, earlier too?). Second story: the room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine that makes hot water as well, and there are very nice Sirocco tea bags too. There is no tea pot though, and there are two espresso cups and two regular-sized coffee cups. Apart from these, there are some water glasses, but they are of very thin glass - we were not sure if they would withstand the heat of hot water. So, I called reception and asked for a tea pot and tea cups - at the same time that I called to inquire about "where the **** is our luggage already?". I was already out during the last minutes of sunlight when someone came and brought - tea bags. My wife sent them away and explained that we wanted a tea pot and cups. Long story short: 4 more attempts (phone + in-person) later we gave up... The glasses didn't break in the end.

The service quality and food menu have quite some room for improvement. The gym is on the small side with rather limited and older equipment.

Great place, quiet and beautifully decorated hotel which was perfect for a weekend away. Nice spa and sauna.

Booked the Alpine Suite for better privacy, staff decided to occupy the room next door with a 24/7 howling and barking little dog. Owners just left the dog in the room... Called the front desk twice to ask for help, no change. No apology upon checkout neither. Sad and Unacceptable.

- party and loud music with sleep disturbance until 00:30, we had to call reception to kindly ask to turn the music down - when asking for transfer to city center in the evening it wasn’t possible (for no real reason) - breakfast: no Organe juice, fruit empty, nothing special, coffee cold.. not very enjoyable

Food was very much overpriced. Quality was OK but definitely not worth the bill. Hotel had no turndown service in the room. No housekeeping was available during evenings.

Great breakfast buffet and amenities. Ski shop where one can buy everything needed for skiing and swimming. Concierge were very friendly. The shuttle service was free of charge and shuttle are dropping and picking us up from anywhere across Davos.

cleaning service was a disaster, had to ask every day to clean the room because it wasn’t done, and when it was the cleaning quality was very bad ( which was crucial to me as I came with 2 babies one of which is newborn). there were not enough shuttles to get the guests from the lifts too ok the hotel at some point. people had to wait more than 1,5 hours to be picked up ( I think that is not acceptable) , the restaurant wasn’t available for hotel guests for the New Years Eve, who didn’t book in advance , which is not normal given these we had 3 rooms with you ( the priority should be given to the hotel guests),
