You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaThe bathroom sink had a slight odour; it was slow to drain, so it probably just needed a good cleaning. I should have mentioned that to the staff, but I was too busy to get that done and wasn't there long enough to worry about it. As long as the bathroom window was left open it wasn't an issue.
I loved the intelligent room design, the location and the staff at the cafe. Plus it was good value considering Swiss prices!

United KingdomOur first impression with the self check in, was frustrating, as we arrived at 22:00 and everything was closed although there was a telephone number that helped us to complete our check in. Elevetor was also something unpleasant for us, we have a baby stroller and the building had many places with steps
The room was very pleasant, spacious, stylish, the appliances and electronics were perfect.The location is excellent just in the center of old town, the train station is 10 minutes walk.

United Kingdom-complicated check-in process if you don't have a phone with 3G or are unable to call swiss numbers, the check-in machine at the hotel was out of order! -to get to the elevator, there is a giant flight if stairs, which is inconvenient with suitcases. -no view, windows are 2meters away from the next building.

GermanyThe bunk beds in our room were cozy but a bit claustrophobic. Would be great for kids but as an adult sleeping up there you couldn’t even sit up all the way or adjust your blankets without bonking the ceiling or sides.
The self check in was easy and convenient, the room and whole hotel was really nicely designed and felt super cool to be in. Facilities like the washing machine room, coffee shop below, self help closet for extra towels / tp were amazing and so convenient. Location was really great too with the lake close by and lots of shops and restaurants within very short walking distance.

United KingdomThe bed was too hard for us. Not enough storage facilities or hooks. Complex layout that takes some getting used to.
Lovely room with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The cooking facilities were brilliant (two induction hot plates)and I haven't seen anything like them before. We could at least make some basic food, cheaper than eating out all the time. Staff in The Rokka cafe were very helpful. Great location in the heart of the old town. Very good shower. Good housekeeping staff. Would recommend getting a key card as all check in (and door openings) is done through their app on your phone and I didn't have much data.

United KingdomCheck in really is overly complicated. We had an incident where cleaning staff entered our room unannounced — which was really uncomfortable. The Lubo did apologise, but it made us slightly edgy for the rest of the stay. Accidents do happen, but nonetheless it did impact our stay.
Location in the old town is excellent. Near restaurants, shops & supermarkets. 10-15 min walk to lake or main station. The kitchenette was good, room comfortable and bed excellent. There is a small common room with washing facilities for CHF 3 and a vending machine.

United KingdomWe needed help checking in. When “self check in” is in the title, you expect it to be flawless. But 1) we didn’t have the check-in code emailed to us 2) we had to re enter all of our details including payment. Only took 20 minutes (with help from a staff member) but would expect it to be quicker. Also, the bunk beds were quite small and no shower gel provided.
It’s in the centre of Lucerne with restaurants and shops on its doorstep. The laundry room is really helpful and the room was clean. For check out, we just had to chuck our key cards in a box.

A quality overnight stay in a perfect location, for a decent price, in a main tourist destination in Switzerland. What else can you ask for? Breakfast? Just around the corner, coffee and the freshest croissants I had in a long time!
