There were many flies in the shower area. In my opinion this is not the case in the other rooms or in general because everything else was very clean and tidy.

I'm usually quick to find faults with hotel rooms but can't think of any suggestions for improvement with this one. Maybe better signage to car park entrance would help if coming from one direction as we parked in the wrong place at first but not much of an issue.

Clean, modern hotel with secure parking and really efficient self check in system. Bed comfortable, room quiet and bathroom modern. Enjoyable stay and good nights sleep.

There are no coffee / tea machines, refrigerator or glasses in the room - these are located in the communal area near the reception. One had to dress up and walk there to get a beverage (hoping that no one sees you in poor attire first thing in the morning!) and get it back to your room. Besides, if I picked a nice bottle of wine to sit in the balcony there was no way to keep it chilled except for going to the restaurant and asking for an ice bucket and glasses. I did go and ask for a glass though to mix my med that need to be diluted. The bathroom is bizzare - it's 'open plan'. Walk in to a doorless bathroom space that has a long counter with the basin in the centre and hand wash pinned to the wall at a stretchable distance! The WC and the shower are partitioned are located behind the basin with a half, semi frosted glass sliding door. So, either the shower remains open or the WC depending on which one is in use. This is good for a single occupant but leaves no scope for intimacy if there are 2. Needless to say, being an open plan it's disturbing (esp if sleeping) if any one of the occupants uses the bathroom. PS there are no hooks to hang towels in or outside the shower cubicle. There are no hooks at all. There are railings for the towels at one end of the bathroom. Not sure if it's just us that felt this way about this modern interior design. There are just one or two restaurants close by, none that I would ever visit (still need a car) if you don't want to eat in the hotel's restaurant and many small (at the petrol stations) and large (that close by 6pm) grocery stores. This hotel is located between a residential and industrial area very far from the main tourist attractions in and around Interlaken. It perhaps caters more to the professionals visiting the area for work reasons.

We were there for 5 nights. Very modern hotel. The room with the balcony was nice, quiet with very comfortable beds; there is an air con which was much needed after the long hikes in the sun; the staff were very polite, hospitable and informative; the self check-in procedure was simple and straight forward (except that you had to look for the self check in location); the restaurant attached to the hotel was good (but quite expensive). They did leave us 2 tokens to get a discount for one visit to the restaurant. Parking is in the basement, CHF 10 per day and has points for eclectic cars (did not use but saw them). There is a bus stop right outside the hotel where one can get a bus to Thun riverside and station (15min). The Thun Visitor Card provided by the hotel can be used for free travel in the bus. This visitor card does not offer as many freebees as compared to the the Lucern Visitor Card.

No AC in the rooms

I like everything while im staying there , but i have this small advantage that we an arab people lived in a hot weather almost, we like when we thinking of travel that we are looking for a place that we can staying happy and comfortable as i mean you must think to provide your rooms with an AC , we need that really . Didn't like the bathroom which was open plan with a sliding door which either covered the toilet or shower . The shower leaked into the sink area ... bearable but prefer traditional seperate bathroom

Fantastic setting in quiet area outside town but number 3 bus service to town is excellent every 10 minutes all day and takes less than 10 mins to be in the town or at the station and from right outside the hotel - great choice if you don't want to be in the centre . If you arrive by train catch the number 3 to the hotel ..taxi was very expensive Staff very friendly Comfortable Free coffee and bottled water welcome

Shower/Toilet is a bit strange with the frosted glass and no proper door? Expensive for a 3 star in a small village, but I guess that sums up Switzerland and the bad EUR FX Rate ;)

The place outside of Thun is certainly not the nicest . But inside the hotel its great, and the public transport takes you to the beautiful old city centre of Thun.

The hotel does everything for your your comfort ... very modern rooms, free nespresso coffee in the lobby, a nice bar, restaurant, you get a free drink, public transport directly to the centre just outside the hotel
