The bath in the bedroom was dangerous. The gap between the corner of the wooden base on which the bath stood and the bed was very narrow and I caught my foot on the corner and fell heavily against the bed hurting my back. We could see no point in having a bath in the bedroom!

The room was tiny and very dark, no where to do my makeup whilst husband was in the shower. I thought from the pictures online that the property was more secluded

The lighting in the new rooms is very stylish and beautiful, but very complicated and no lights in the hall area or around the back of the room where the suitcases are supposed to be placed.

Excellent breakfast and the dinner in the restaurant was very good with an interesting mix of dishes and good wines.

Nothing really important, but: 1. Welcome was cool. 2. We had to find our own way to the room. 3. No explanation about the hotel and the accommodations. 4. No welcome drink.

The hotel is beautifully located at a the Sempacher laker, within short distance from Lucerne. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly. Food is great.

Room was the smallest I’d ever stayed. No space for opening case on floor. Advertised as 20sqm? Bathroom also compact. Didn’t feel hand towel rail 75mm from toilet hygienic. A/C wasn’t working but didn’t notice until late evening so didn’t report until the morning. Receptionist was very apologetic and gave bottle of wine plus two bottles of water for journey. Pot bottles with stoppers on sink and within shower looked good but wondered what would happen if it was to fall on tiled floor?

Breakfast in the conservatory was good with view across the lake lovely. Didn’t like the look of the hot food, not knowing how long it’s been kept warm

1. Air conditioning in the room did not work at all. It was there, but it didn't turned on. 2. Parking space for motorbikes, the one we were told to use, was very far away from the main door of the hotel. Travellers with the motorbike must bring in more baggage than travellers with a car. With car one can leave all the unneeded baggage in a car, one travelling by motorbike cannot do so. All must be brought away from the bike and in the hotel room. Some hotels are having bike parking slot near the main door and that is the proper way. We felt that this hotel was discriminating motorbikers. 3. Even more when we were not able to enjoy our dinner in the lounge terrace amongst all the rich looking people in their dresses and little coats, but in the other terrace with some others on the same level, dressed a little more casually.

Breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel was practical for us as traveller and it was also very beautiful. Bed in the room was perfect.

it’s being renovated, so you get a room that’s in the middle of a building plot. scaffolding all round the place. plastic covering the corridor. cement in the lift. and work (noise) starts at 7am on the dot.
