Very comfortable rooms, friendly and competent staff, good breakfast. Central location and right opposite to the station which takes you up to the Stanserhorn, which is absolutely recommendable ! Very nice hotel which we will happily stay at again when in Stans.

No coffee facilities in the room. No one around when checking in, so had to call a Swiss number. Fortunately a colleague had this facility, which I didn’t.

The rooms erected very warm, we needed to open the windows to sleep and were often woken up by cars passing by. There is a lovely lobby and lounge area but it closes very early. We would’ve loved to spend some time there after dinner with our co-travelers.

Beautiful, cozy rooms and very convenient location. Breakfast was great and coffee very good considering it was from a self service machine.

Just a small suggestion for improvement, as during the evening the hotel has no staff on site, there should be some support items available (such as cutlery) as we sometimes brought food to eat in the room but there was no cutlery available for us, and no one to ask to.

Room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived towards the end of the afternoon, therefore there was no one to receive us. However, we got clear instructions for the check-in process, so it was relatively easy and smooth to check in. Breakfast is really good, plenty of options and good quality overall! The lady that is in charge of the hotel is super nice and welcoming! Parking is just across the street and easy instructions for payment. We stayed here to go to Engelberg so it was quite close and easy to get to as well.

It was much nicer than expected. Contemporary interior, clean and roomy. The staff was helpful and sunny. The breakfast was exceptional. Enormous variety, plentiful, fresh and painstakingly replenished. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in Switzerland.

No kettle but we’re allowed free coffee all day In reception area. Bit noisy from upstairs room.

Location was perfect for us. Sightseeing in the village and cable car 20 mtrs from hotel. Lovely cafes and restaurants very close. Train 2 minutes away allows easy access to Lucerne which 20 minutes away. Room was spacious with a fridge.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Hotel rooms in Switzerland are the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. Loved staying in boutique hotels more for this trip. The room was small but cutely decorated.

Hotel does not have own parking place. You have to park at the public parking place, but it is not far away and it costs 5 franks.

Little insects inside. The lake is not Brienz Lake.

Every detail inside the room, as beautiful as the photo looks like. Spacious balcony. Delicious plates, especially soup, potato fries and beef. Helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed Heart-shaped Lindt chocolates for honeymoon.

The only thing which was a little difficult was parking the car, but the reception desk will help you out and show you a place nearby.
