Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere was nothing at all for us not to like.
The whole hotel was so enjoyable and very peaceful with all the greenery. The outdoor courtyard was a lovely place for drinks and breakfasts. The breakfasts were plentiful and quite delicious. The rooms were as stated and a very boutique style, comfortable in all respects. The location was wonderful, delightful street with many trees and even more restaurants and boutique shops. We had no trouble finding the best restaurants. Loved the area and loved the hotel. Staff were very obliging.

United States of AmericaCharming hotel with a very nice breakfast and treats in the afternoon with a courtyard. You will feel at home. The entire staff is very pleasant and helpful. Our flight arrived in Santiago early in the morning and the staff was able to prepare our room within one hour. It was so nice since we were tired after our 16 hr flight. They were kind to give us a later checkout time to allow us to visit the famous Cerro San Cristobal Cable Car. The hotel is located on a quiet street with restaurants and within walking distance of the Costanera Center and Sky Constanera. Definitely a hidden gem.

AustraliaNothing. If you're looking for a bijoux boutique, home from home experience, this is it. What it does't offer is a swimming pool, big bar, etc, like the facilities of a big hotel, but that's the charm of Le Reve.
The location: This boutique hotel has a wonderful location in a classy residential area of Santiago, with a number of great restaurants nearby, notably the Ambrosia bistro, which the hotel had recommended for lunch or dinner. It was one of the best meals we'd had in South America. There are several restaurants located next to, and opposite the hotel, so we were really spoilt for choice if we didn't want to walk far. The staff: The staff were all very helpful, both before our trip in organising taxis from the airport, and transfers back to the airport at the end of our stay. The hotel and it's facilities: The hotel has a wonderful feel to it; like that of a sophisticated London townhouse hotel, with lovely comfy furnishings, books, artefacts and art; very cosy and pleasing to the eye. The highlight for us was the wonderful shaded courtyard at the back; a real haven and quiet escape from the buzz of the city outside. It was wonderfully quiet with the sound of birds and the water feature; a very special place in which to relax for breakfast, or an aperitif before dinner. Our bedroom (311) was a lovely king room (not particularly spacious and a bit of a struggle with 4 suitcases after a month long travel adventure around South America and Antarctica, but it was very clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Luckily there was a small lift in the hotel to help us transport our luggage to the 3rd floor. A great laundry service too. Having travelled around for a month, with a large bag of laundry, we were very impressed that it was returned to us on the same day. We liked the honour bar system, and there was a small selection of wines and liquors for drinks in the living room. We didn't use the kitchen for snacks but apparently there were snacks available from 4pm-midnight.

United KingdomWe couldn’t fault this hotel.
We liked being able to make a cup of tea or coffee at any time and the honesty bar in the afternoon/ evening. We loved sitting in the garden- an oasis in the middle of Santiago. The staff were in constant attendance and always happy to help.

United KingdomWe were made so welcome at Hotel Boutique Le Reve. From the early check-in, to the honesty bar and the terrace, to the facility to make ourselves a cuppa when we returned from a day out. We loved it. A real home from home. The staff were super friendly and professional. Thank you for our stay.

BrazilThe hotel does not have gym and the WiFi did not work well. There are not many things to do at the Hotel beyond the garden and the bar, so keep it in mind, because it will be solely a place to rest - I would not recommend it for families with kids, for example.
Breakfast is excellent, with many options and fresh food. The hotel location is also very good and it is close to several Santiago's attractions as restaurant and malls. The staff is always willing to help and they are very comprehensive to the guest's needs.

BrazilThe room was great, but the shower area inside the bathroom didn't have sound isolation on the floor, so the whole bathroom would get very wet after we used the shower.
The property is beautiful and cozy. The front desk was very helpful, giving suggestions of areas of the city to explore and good restaurants. The breakfast was excellent!
