Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Lovely property. Ruth and her staff welcomed us warmly and we quickly felt at home. Our comfortably appointed room opened onto a patio overlooking Coyhaique. We awoke in the morning to find a horse grazing on the lawn outside our window. Breakfast was sumptuous in the bright and cheery dining room.

United States of AmericaRuth and the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating in helping make the stay excellent. They adjusted check-in times and breakfast times as needed to accommodate us. The food way excellent, the beds were very comfortable, and the location is lovely. It is about a mile walk into town, so you get the best of both a quiet and beautiful location, with easy access to town. I will come stay here again!

United States of Americadon't get me wrong, i love dogs and have had dogs almost all of my 67 years but there were A LOT of dogs, and barking during the night. And the air conditioner makes weird noises when it turns on, like water running thru a pipe or wind whistling thru a door.
The Risotto de Tinta de Calamar con merluza Y camarones al pil was EXCELLENT, one of the two best dinners we have had during our stay of 14 days.

Room (type): we were upgraded to a super spacious room (‘San Lorenzo’) with terrace. Well designed and furnished. Location: superb! Patagonia House is surrounded by forest and well kept gardens offering beautiful views. 5-10 minutes ride from city center and 45 minutes by car to Balmaceda airport. (Chp 9k pp in shared minivan that reception will help you to book in advance if desired) Bed: Beds comfortable but double beds are in fact joined twins (so expect a crack in the middle) Bathroom: outstanding and spacious. Good shower. Very nice soaps etc. Wifi: superb Bonus: The restaurant is absolutely outstanding (both for breakfast and for dinner). Apart from this, there are various friendly dogs (belonging to the hotel) that will love to join you for a walk (and be cuddled) All in all a 5 star hospitality experience without it being a 5 star hotel.

IsraelOur room was facing the entrance of the area and to have privacy we had to close the dark shades completely I would appreciate a blurrier lighter shades so you can still enjoy the view/sun even when in the room but that not that bad
Bed was super comfy, breakfast was great and staff are really nice and helpful even it was close to town, we enjoyed the green nature and were 2 min drive from town

Great location on the outskirts of the city on the hill. Great views, with a big outdoor space that feels quite and secluded. Staff is attentive and friendly. We were the only people that stayed multiple days, but we really enjoyed the quite and peace. The Restaurant is amazing, easily the best place we ate at during our month long trip in Patagonia.

GermanyWe couldn't use the thermal baths because we were told we needed to give 4 hour notice to use it and even though we checked in at 18h, we could not use it the same day. And as we were leaving the next day, we couldn't use it at all. We booked this place wanting to have a nice dinner on site and then go to the thermal baths only to find out we can't use it. And there was no information that it needs to be pre-notified for use. In the end we felt like we paid a lot of money for just a room when we were expecting a nice thermal bath in a nice setting.
The location was super tranquil and picturesque. The on-site restaurant offers amazing dinner and a really amazing breakfast (included). The staff was also super helpful! The bed was extremely comfortable!

United States of AmericaFrom the moment we get there we felt unwelcome The owner idk who she was but she made us feel super uncomfortable for Christmas Eve when we said we didn’t eat pork and seafood. Plus we brought with us a really good Chilean wine for Christmas dinner and they charge us USD 20 Just for open our bottle The Second and most awful thing was my husband left his grandfathers necklace at our bedroom on the nightstand a ritual he does every single night for over 10 years and when we left we immediately called back to ask if they could keep it for us and they said they didn’t find anything in our room. So he lost something invaluable and they didn’t give us any solution when there is zero doubt where it was left. They just said that maybe we lost the gold chain in another place….which unfortunately was impossible and now it’s lost because they have staff they can’t trust. They even tried to insinuate that he had it on when he left and sent us video which clearly was not a necklace.
Anything but the restaurant is good but that’s another place inside this hotel The restaurant have another name

United States of AmericaThe listing said; Room size 376 square feet, it was only 200 sq ft. they said they don’t measure in feet, not their problem. Listing said patio, small square of gravel, see pic, listing said Mountain View, not from the room. Listing said couch, no couch . The worst though was there was one tiny window that opened but big fixed glass that heated the room up to an oven!!!! no air/cond. the window that opens faced the workers open air dormitory 20 feet away.
I booked this property because it was advertised as luxury location. NOT, in fact the books listing was no where near the truth. The property named booking.Com. Note the pictures are of from around the Room/ patio, workers dorm and views from the room…We left after one night and found a different place just outside of Coyhaiquefor 1/3 the money and a great view three times the size.

United States of AmericaOur room was above a kitchen prep area. At 1030 pm there was still very loud pounding and music so my partner said something. They said they were almost finished and continued til 11pm. Also as soon as that stopped the 7 property dogs started barking. So if you have kids or need to go to sleep on the earlier side, maybe specify not the room above the prep area.
Pretty and the bed was comfortable. Frank was very friendly and went the extra mile

NetherlandsHowever, there were a few minor downsides that you wouldn’t expect at this price range. Our room was located next to the bar, which was inconvenient because everyone can easily look inside, or you have to keep the curtains closed at all times. The room was too warm because the central heating wouldn’t switch off. Our dinner order was taken twice, then mixed up with someone else’s. The risotto which they praised so much, was undercooked and still hard. Their ‘garden greens’ was only (very expensive) lettuce, nothing else. In Europe, I’ve spent less for better food and accommodation.
Location is great, located on a hillside in Coihayque. Check-in is quick and easy. Staff was overall friendly and breakfast was amazing. Their showers are hot and steady, and the soaps, shampoos and handgel smell fantastic. It was a good place to get some rest after driving the Carretera.
