Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe bathroom smell, the swimming pool was on renovation somehow and there was some loud workers. Somehow farther from city you are better off in closer places as a tourist.
Rooms were ok, but old St Regis not renovated. Close to railway and subway about 5 min walk. Good fish restaurant downstairs and good breakfast.

BangladeshThey staffs must speak English , there are few managers speaks English only. There is no guideline for tourists / places . To be a good hotel - they must have the facilities for the tourists.
Nice location , nearby Beijing’s main train/ subway station . Done Muslim / halal restaurants nearby . We were comfortable during our stay there

AustriaThe one big issue we had is that the air conditioning wasn’t adjustable from the room or from the building. Basically we had up to 28C in the room cause they couldn’t turn it off.
Location, facilities especially the mini super market in the bundling and so on.

South KoreaThe bathroom has an interesting structure. You open the door and only see the toilet. I was looking for the shower and noticed a glass door on the bathroom wall. You have to open it, and it'll divide the bathroom so that you will only be able to see the shower. It was the first time I saw something like this.
Our room was super spacious, with two big queen beds and plenty of space for our clothes and shoes; there were two huge wardrobes. When we entered our room, I noticed a leak under the sink. They could not fix it, so they arranged another room with a better layout, and everything worked perfectly.

New ZealandBreakfast was cold everyday, heat lamps didn’t help. Reception staff weren’t helpful in helping us try to book sightseeing tours even with google translate, yet I saw a man from reception on the day of checkout arranging to take a guest on his day off fir extra cash to Great Wall. He had told me it was too far to get there we arranged a private driver ourselves after research. Would be great if there was concierge available to assist for that. Our original room was so hot after two nights/5 I asked if they could move us we ended up with a better family room configuration. The air con was set at 24 and it was too hot so that wasn’t great we hardly slept. The design of bathroom was different didn’t really like g he saving shower and too my et in one space and then having a wet floor to use the bathroom. Housekeeping were great.

RussiaNot all staff speak English. For some reason it is not possible to book a room with breakfast through Booking.
The renovation is quite fresh. There is a breakfast buffet, including European specialties. Location is 50/50. You can walk to the main shopping street and forbidden city, but more convenient by taxi.

IrelandPool and changing rooms are slightly dilapidated, some staff could be a little rude and hard work even when using technology to communicate/translate. Laundry room requires you to download local apps which don't accept international cards. Vending machines also do not accept international cards. Rooms are slightly dated.
Upgraded room, large spacious and lots of storage. Very good shower and room cleaning was daily and fridge was a great addition for snack and drinks in the hot weather. WIFI was decent, the gym is good and the pool/changing rooms are slightly dilapidated. You need a swim hat for the pool which costs €11. Water left by cleaners daily. Bar had happy hour on beer.

FinlandNo AC in the room, very hot when outside temperature was almost 30 degrees. The hotel is a downgraded and more tired version of it former self, when it was managed by the Marriot. Now the lobby is small and shared with 3-4 other venues. Breakfast is ok.
The location is excellent, next to the Beijing Railway Station. The rooms are big, and the spa center has saunas and a 25 meter long heated swimming pool for free use of guests. I think AC will be turned on for Summer months (I was there in April), and generally the hotel offers ok value for money.

United KingdomThe reception is very friendly and gave me free upgrade to the executive room. This is the best value for money hotel in central Beijing. That's why I keep coming back. The room is extremely spacious and bathroom is very good size. I like the well equipped gym, never has more than three people. The pool is a standard 25 meter pool and not busy that you can do proper laps. The location is very central, short taxi rides to all places and tube station is 5 mins walk away. 性价比最高的市内五星级酒店,没有之一。每次回国都住
