The only thing I didn’t like is that the website stated there was recreation, but when I inquired at the front desk about the recreational options they said that aside from the spa and pool there were no other options.

The property is historic and beautiful. It was serene. The staff are attentive and courteous. It was my sons birthday and the went above and beyond to decorate the table. The hacienda is gorgeous, rich in history. My favorite was the onsite chapel and mini museum. The food was delicious with a varied menu. The morning breakfast has several local options to choose from.

Too many stairs up and down to get around. Nothing can be done this is an old building built in the 1600's.

The Hotel is a very very well kept hacienda with more than 300 years. Room was very well equipped, even with a heat radiator excellent for the cooler nights. The Hot Springs pool excellent. My wife used the Spa and was very satisfied. Food delicious, live music, beautiful bar with chimney and great environment.

Thermal pool was great (they bring drinks too). The room was nice. Some meat dishes (lengua and sobrebarriga) were excellent and very reasonably priced.

The location is excellent. It is an old hacienda with a classic style and perfect decoration. Its history comes back from the time of Simon Bolivar and the army who fought for the independence of Colombia. The hotel also has excellent hot springs.

In some hotels they give for free black coffee, herbal tea and tap water, they didn´t give anything, everything was charged. I mean, the hotel is really good, but I expected unless a bottle of water in my bedroom or a water container for free at the front desk.

I love the swimming pool, the rooms, how nice the staff was. I have to say that the food was really good, and also the dishes they offer include local food from that specific region of the country, which is really good to have the opportunity to enjoy typical food from that region.

The room that we got was not as nice as I wanted it to be for the price that we paid, the washroom and spa also needs an update it was very old.

The hotel from the last time I visited looks renewed has been kept in an amazing condition and the hot springs are just the best! there's so much history and it looks beautiful! the service is also very good.

The hotel was beautiful and peaceful. The thermal pool was incredible, we could have spent forever in it. The staff were all wonderful, and the views over the farmland nearby were stunning. We highly recommend staying here!

Besides the beautiful location and history of the property the thermal pool is a huge advantage for staying there. It is a few minutes out of the town of Paipa but it is a reality onto its own and a wonderful get away if that's what you are wanting. The Hacienda is really near self-sufficient just like it was intended to be from it's 1716 beginnings. The lodging is lovely, bar and restaurant very good and the type of place you really should stay for at least a couple or more days.

Hate wearing the silly caps in the pool. Coffee weak. Wifi constantly flickering in and out. Creepy "spa music" in the air everywhere. Sad to see the historic eucalyptus tree brutally truncated.

Pool was green and mineral, as always. Could have been hotter. Good massage. Breakfast was generous. Staff always polite. Surrounding landscape beautiful.

Bathroom vanity a bit uncomfortable. To get closer to the mirror feet will touch the sink wall made it very uncomfortable. Kindly suggesting to add a bedroom mirror.
