The language barrier. Almost no one speaks english but I did well with google translate so make sure you know conversational spanish. Also for those who choose the ocean view room, be wary of the loud noises at night time from party buses driving through bocagrande

I like the hospitable staff and friendly service. Room was kept clean everyday. I loved the daily breakfast and 24/7 restaurant that served the full menu

Food was a challenge, I have allergies and these are not marked on the menu and when I asked staff just said ‚no‘. Of course there are options. I waited 40 mins to have my order taken for lunch on my final day and was ignored by the waiters, I gave up and left. That’s not the kind of service a luxury hotel should provide. The bellboy was friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful gardens and animals and easy beach access. I travelled solo and the hotel is an easy landmark to reach and the beach club felt very safe compared to the main beach where vendors hassled me.

Some areas of the hotel feel a bit dated and the air-con in our room was difficult to control.

The whole pool and gardens were really nice. The staff was nice and helpful. We also enjoyed the food. Basically you feel like to you don’t need to leave the hotel, you can just stay in, enjoy and relax.

Only 2 small bottle of water 300Ml. Each day. The should provide more. Or change the size to 500Ml.

I was very Happy with the breakfast and the pool service. I think the staffs is Super, they were always very friendly and ready to help and make one feel welcome. They are the best ambassadors of the Hotel.

Over reliance on single use plastic items such as salt, pepper, sauces, straws, drink stirs etc. A hotel of this calibre shouldn’t be using these. Food fairly average, expected better.

The staff are a credit to the hotel, courteous and friendly. Very professional. The gardens are very impressive with live animals and well maintained

There wasn’t an indoor passage to the building with rooms. Front desk could be more attentive and informative.

Excellent location, spacious, comfortable, lots of beds at the pool and a safe space by the beach. It was clean and all indoor places had blasting AC to beat the 107F weather. To get to my room, there was no indoor passage, so the 3min walk was heavy on the heat hahaha. Food was good, buffet breakfast and lunch, and a l carte dinner. Optional all inclusive or pay per meal. Lunch and Dinner were typically around $35 per person. I consider it a little pricey considering so many restaurants nearby, but the food was good and the comfort worth it. Room was good, bed was fairly comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. Hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gel, hair dryer, and safe in the closet. The spa is small but with different massage services, Turkish bath and hot tub. The room is equipped with a mini bar with drinks and snacks, at “hotel price”, good to get when in a rush, but I suggest walking out to the pharmacy less than 2 blocks away that is open 24 hours. You’ll get the same at more than half the price. The bellboys at the entrance are so helpful and very kind, either helping you or guiding you around the hotel. They also assist in getting you a taxi to get around. The hotel is well located by Bocagrande beach (hotel has a private area with lounge chairs and restaurant), and close by to the city with restaurants, souvenir shops, pharmacies and stores. There is also a small shopping mall within walking distance.

Wifi connection to internet was weak. There was a leak of water in the bathroom, falling from the ceiling. I couldn´t get a late check out.

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very helpful. The room was nice and not small. There was a nice whole body mirror and enough closet space to hang my clothes. The bathtub was nice and big.

I didnt like so much my room cause it was located in the old part of the hotel and I visited the rooms int the new building and they were much nicer.

The hotel is very nice, the beach is located across the street, and it had a nice swimming pool. Also it has a very good massage space, and a hair salon !! It is located far from the old walled city center but there is a taxi stand at the hotel so it is easy to go there .Plus taxis are cheap and abundant there .

Pool was too warm to cool down in and we had to move rooms because the room was too noisy. The hotel is a little run down

The room services were very slow and I ask for a wake-up call which did not take place. The conference rooms were not grand, a bit old should be refurbished and modernised

The rooms are outdated, they are currently working on remodeling and renewing the common areas in the hotel and hopefully will work on the rooms too. We booked 1 bedroom apartment and it looked more like a holleway with bedroom and not living room but it didn’t bother us much since we spent most of our time outside.

Hotel was amazing, since we walked in the service and the staff very extremely nice and helpful. Inside the hotel is beautiful, very green, lots of animals (sloths, parrots..), pool is huge and has a smaller kids pool, 2 jacuzzis, lots of space. There are 2 restaurants that were pretty good. Spa and massages were good too. Amazing breakfast.
