The place is a bit far from Cartagena and some parts of the road were not paved. Water pressure in the sink is not too strong. The electricity power was going out our first night and their power generator was having some issues but this was fixed. Also, our TV didn’t wanted to connect to Netflix. Other than those minors issues, this is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay.

We loved the tranquility of the place! Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beach, pool and good food. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was exceptional! You get a complimentary refresher when you arrive. Special thanks to Alvin and Kelly for all their help during our stay! The included breakfast was delicious! Every day it was a bit different. The food from the restaurant was amazing as well. We did the tour to Isla del Rosario including the Oceanario, snorkeling and swimming with the fish in the Ocean and we loved it! You get picked up from the hotel in a boat. It was an amazing experience. We definitely recommend!

The place is a secluded escape with a low-key vibe. Food and drinks are delicious, and masseuse is spectacular. Easy to coordinate and worth the hour and a half of drive. Grounds are well maintained and very picturesque.

If you are looking for a quiet, chill, and nice place to disconnect. This is your place! Away from everything with an amazing view, delicious food, friendly staff. The hotel has everything organised for you. The activities for the rosario island and plankton and worth! We enjoyed them both The rooms are comfortable, clean, well equipped.

My husband and I spent 3 nights and absolutely loved the setting of this unique resort. The food and service were above expectation. The pool was closed the entire time, 4 days. Staff kept saying it would be open the following day but it stayed closed throughout the stay. Beach is not Sandy or clear. But there are tours that take you to coral reefs for snorkeling and Sandy beaches at a good price.

Amazing staff. Super nice stay, very comfortable. Food was good. Private beach, calm and quite, no vendors or crowds. Amazing stay to relax and recharge. Internet worked well throughout.

The food was just okay. And as there is nothing around, you have to stick with the options available. Beach walks - or walks in general - would have been nice but are not possible due to the private properties around. But that’s complaining on a high level - it’s wonderful there!

Beautiful secluded and clean hotel with a private beach - perfect to unplug from the world and enjoy silence for a couple of days. The ocean is amazing! Yoga mats, paddle boards, canoes, snorkel all for free - big like! Plankton tour highly recommended!

Keep in mind that you need to buy everything from the spot : from bottled water to every meals. No supermarkets around. Not much to do after 9PM once the kitchen & bar close.

Great place for a secluded retreat. Zen environment lets you completely disconnect. Staff is great and food is tasty.

Just a recommendation: if you travel here from Cartagena, the taxi ride is about $90. For the distance this is fair.

The hotel is amazing. You are away from all the overrun party locations on Barú and have a beach to yourself. A boat will pick you up to take you to Rosario Island or the reef. It is very secluded, the beach and the service as well as the restaurant are excellent.

I was looking for a property that was off the beaten tracks on Isla Baru and Casa Cordaba Baru is exactly this. The forthcoming and friendly staff combined with a very relaxed and quiet athmosphere in an very well maintained property is a perfect hideaway for those that dont need or want to escape the buzz.

It would be helpful to have more information about the activities available in English, including when and how to pay, how long they take, and what to bring with you (swimsuit, life jacket, etc). I did not bring cash with me to the hotel because I had assumed I could charge everything to my room, which was not the case with activities.

The food was wonderful and the staff were very friendly. I loved that they're aren't many rooms, so there were always lounge chairs and places to sit available. Plus, guests actually talked with each other a bit around meal times, which created a nice atmosphere.

We could hear the guests above us. Some meals were great and some mediocre. You must order your food about an hour before you think you will get hungry to give them time to prepare it.

The water is not the idyllic blue and a little rocky to walk into from the beach but they provide water shoes for your use. It’s a little far to get to but the tranquility is worth it!

The accommodations are excellent, very clean, super comfortable bed, hot water, great water pressure. The food was amazing, but best of all were the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Will be back for sure! Gracias por todo Luz y Aura!
