Nothing. It is a perfect location. Could offer shuttles to the village (particularly for shopping groceries), Taxi is quite expensive (in relation)

Everything. I have not given a 10 before. This little paradise is all you can ask for (unless you are looking for partying). A bit outside of town, but wow, frontage female dorm you have the most spectacular view, the vibes are so chill, the garden, the pavilions with hammocks and swinging beds… the kitchen is great, wifi working, nice hot showers… well, hard to leaveY will always remember 🙏🏻

What a beautiful place and lovely people! Casa Nelly is not a hostel it is a house shared by travellers. A beautiful garden a home-like feeling and everything is well thought to make the travellers' life easy. It is some half an hour walking from the center but it was my preference not staying in the center. Wish i have a Casa Nelly every town i go!

You do need to hike up a hill to get there, but it’s nothing too strenuous and actually worthwhile for the peace and quiet

I banged my head a lot on various low ceilings but 🤷 European problems. The path up is unpaved and very steep which is tricky for cars in rainy season.

We got a cabin here which was beautiful. Secluded, two floors. There was lots of nice sociable guests in the main bit and Harry(?) who was running the place couldn't have been more helpful with organising local tours and giving us info. There was lots of lovely wee doggos knocking about too. The gardens were beautiful.

Good breakfast and fabulous coffee! Helpful information from the staff. Wonderful outdoor areas to chill out in. Nice living room to hang out in and talk to others. Felt like home. I miss it already! Easy nice walk to town- 2 routes possible. Walkable to archaeological site. Long but enjoyable. Closer to the archaeological site than places in town. I rented a motorcycle for the day and enjoyed exploring the larger area.

Casa de Nelly is a gorgeous, relaxing retreat about 10-15mins walk from the town centre. The room was immaculate, and all the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff are super helpful with everything. There are many spots to sit in and relax, in comfortable chairs or hammocks. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

If you’re not keen on dogs and cats, this isn’t the place for you. Rooms are basic but functional. It was exciting going up our wonky stairs to go to bed. We needed to order in every night (instead of the walk to town) - the takeaway was very good.

Super friendly staff. Harry, the manager, is a wealth of information. The lovely lady who does the breakfast (very good!) and lots of other jobs is wonderful too. We had a lovely view over the town. Great shared space to relax inside and outside.

The best hostel I've stayed in in my 6 months of travelling South America. The entire hostel is super clean thanks to the daily cleaning and the kitchen is big with everything you need to cook. Beds are comfy and rooms are spacious with places to store your items. There's lots of common areas to sit in with board games. Harry, the owner, is an absolute gem and is great for a chat as well as full of advice of the surrounding area. As it's located just outside the town, it's very peaceful. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from a big supermarket.

Amazing location on the hill, really quiet, and super nice and helpfull staff, can not be better. It was so relaxing, you can hike, enjoy the garden and just relax there, go on a horse ride or to archeological parks.

I can't really think of anything. Just make sure to get some food to cook in the communal kitchen because they only serve breakfast. All was wonderful.

Hotel Casa de Nelly is wonderful. The staff if friendly and very helpful, the accomodation perfectly charming and very comfortable. It is situated within walking distance of the town, and still feels like the midst of jungle. Highly reccomended!!

This is probably the cutest hostel in the whole of Colombia. Gorgeous gardens, spacious dorms, spotless baths, shared kitchen, and lots of social areas. Big shout-out to Harris and the rest of the staff for their kindness.

I really don't have any remarks, everything was perfect.

Everything was top notch, best hostel I have stayed in during my 6 months of traveling through South America. The atmosphere, the beautiful house, the garden with all its little corners and patios to relax on. The rooms and beds are super comfortable. Daily housekeeping ensures everything is spotlessly clean. Harry is amazing and loves helping and giving tips for tours and your travel in general. The house is full of lovely and cute pets. The kitchen for the guests is fully equipped.

Big room, big bed, super comfortable and quiet. Great laundry option and a delicious free coffee in the morning. beautiful garden with loads of hangout spots to relax. Glorious fire at night in the lounge. we’ll equipped shared kitchen.
