The area is fantastic. Beautiful calm sea for swimming, nature everywhere on the island. Really peaceful. The staff does a great job in making sure you’ve everything you need. Food was great as well.

Everything about the hotel is decorated with taste. You can tell the owner puts a lot of thought and effort in making the stay an unique experience for his guests. If you are looking for in a place where you could live among nature, but still enjoy a 5 star boutique hotel experience, this is the place.

It was all good. We were initially expecting a long wait until check-in, having taken the hotel boat at 8.30am. However it's super well-organised so you are given a sun lounger to wait on, with access to a loo, shower, bar etc... You can be swimming by noon so maybe bring your swimming costume with you in your hand luggage ready to take the plunge. Because of the boat times and in the absence of other food alternatives, you will probably end up having the hotel lunch before checking in and after checking out. This isn't a drawback. The food is good and the hotel boat times give you more time on the island and more bang for your buck. We enjoyed our three nights/four days because we loved the tranquility and sea swimming but two nights/three days would be a good alternative.

Wonderfully tranquil location right on the Caribbean. Delightful, attentive staff. Excellent food, freshly cooked using quality ingredients. The breakfast eggs were freshly cooked to order and the seafood and fish lunch/dinner dishes were particularly good and not overpriced. Kayaks and paddle boards available to rent at low cost. Cute retro ensuite bedroom with table and chairs on a sweet terrace (we were in room 3).

Honestly, everything. My partner and I came for what was supposed to be one night and within five minutes of arriving on the island we decided to extend our stay. The island itself is gorgeous, small but still plenty of privacy, the room was very spacious with great temperature control, the food delicious and fresh, and the staff were truly incredible -- attentive, friendly and extremely accommodating. It was perfect to just relax and swim in the water (which you can walk into from multiple spots around the island, and the also offered activities to break up the relaxation. We are already looking forward to coming back! p.s. Tambora is the sweetest pup who roams the island, greeting all of the guests. Be sure to give her some well deserved scrathces.

Just charming and warm hospitality. The staff care about your enjoyment without exception and the hotel sets itself into its surrounds without robbing it off its natural beauty. Would sincerely recommend to any couple, group or solo traveller.

My stay at Coralina Island hotel was unforgettable. The hotel itself was lovely: caribbean style bungalows with wonderful private docks overlooking the sunset on the ocean, surrounded by mangroves. It was a true immersion in nature, with the comfort of a well curated hotel experience. The resort provides several activities to enjoy, including kayaking, swimming to the coral reef, exploring the nearby island etc. The rooms had air conditioning, comfortable bed and well decorated (some of the furniture was antique and belonged to the owner's grandfather!). The meals were excellent, and there was a lot to choose from. I particularly recommend the ceviche, the Coralina fish stew and the fried red snapper. Prices for meals were very reasonable. The hotel has a coffee shop that is owned by Marie and Felipe, who will provide you with a unique coffee tasting experience, with coffee that they personally travel Colombia to purchase directly from the source. It was delicious! I would say what most differentiated this stay for me was the kindness of the owners and their staff. I was traveling alone, and Pierre (owner) and his family invited me to eat with them every night I was there, and even invited me to kayak and swim with them. They made me feel completely at home. Absolutely loved it and would wholeheartedly recommend this stay!

I got the ocean room suite and it was amazing. great staff, the island is very charming, a wonderful feeling of having an island life. after reading many reviews of not having warm water I was a bit concerned but I was able to get some. you just have to be more aware of the use Like in every place emerged in nature. they also arranged me a boat ride from another hotel in Baru.

Facilities could use some updating and cleaning. Lots of bugs in the rooms, leaky roof in the bathroom.

Loved the staff and the tranquility in the evenings. It’s a beautiful location. The mangrove restaurant is stunning.

If your looking for amazing waters, which you wont find near the city of Cartagena, this is it. There was a near by spot with an amazing reef. The island was filled with birds. The staff was very personal and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Words can not describe how nice this trip was. It was like having a home away from home. And I think the owners and staff are what gave it this feeling.

Excellent stay. Friendly and hospitable staff. The food was delicious and generous portion sizes. We only stayed a night as we spent most of our time on Cartagena, I wish we had stayed longer! Hotel Coralina offers a few excursions around the island. You can also snorkel right of some of the docks. The host Pierre made sure to check on us and see to it that we were enjoying our stay. Overall it was a very relaxing and wonderful stay.

After about 4 days the food menu started being a little repetitive. Fish of the day for example was sea bass the every time I asked.

Great attentive staff, stunning area, food was great (it’s not the fancy fine dining that you can find in Cartagena - although they do have things like lobster - but for a tiny island where everything has to come by boat it was excellent). They really helped us navigate some complicated logistics for onward travel, and we did numerous excursions that were all fun and organised. Scuba diving is amazing in that area too. All in all it was one of the most wonderful places we’ve ever been.
