The breakfast was really good & there is a lovely terrace with nice views. The staff were really nice & let me check in early.

Check in was a hustle. We traveled with children (nephews and nieces) and it was not clear that per Colombian law, you need some sort of permission from the parents. Booking only asked about the age of the children. Once we obtained the paperwork needed were able to proceed to check in. We did not get the rooms we needed with the number of beds we had requested. According to the hotel, their booking page was outdated or they had overbooked. They didn’t have enough towels, and tvs didn’t work. They were able to fix them after many times of going to the reception to ask. Breakfast is included. Beware, it is a very “light” breakfast, so if you eat a lot, not for you!

The location was good. Conveniently located within few minutes of a meteor shower station. Customer service was good.

breakfast is offered for 1.5 hours, from 7 to 8:30. I showed up at 8:45 and 20 people were eating. But I was turned away because it was after 8:30am this to me seems simply like bad, inflexible customer service

Internet Was almost not useful, is easier to bay locally sim card to have internet access and to call for taxi 🚖 Sim cards is 20000 pessos colombia +-$5,- for10Gb + call Breakfast service from 7:00am to 8:30am not so great only few options egg arepas + cheese small fruit cup & drinks are hot chocolate or coffee or tea

Location is great very close to good restaurants and nights shopping & nights clubs and shopping mall, good hot water to shower,good bed to sleeping on noting fancy Calle 70 streets is 2 blocks away but very close to walking

on our 3 from 7 days we had 6 days of no hot water and that was just terrible, most of my group became sick due to the change of weather and also with no hot water did not make anything easier.

its not a 5 star place but the staff makes you feel like a 5 star. we stayed their 2 times in our 15 day trip and will defenitely go back. Mari is the best there she is so amazing, the ladies that works and prepares the breakfast in the morning are a blessing

It is a basic hotel, not much not to like, but remember it is not luxury and the rooms are small, but you have everything you need if you are just using the room to sleep and shower, like mt.

Hotel Med 70 is my fall back hotel when I am in Medellin. Because I live just outside the city, I am always looking for deals when I visit friends in Medellin. I have found that the prices here vary greatly so I don't always stay here. It is a reliable hotel, comfortable bed, always plenty of hot water, and a very friendly and helpful staff. I never eat the breakfast that is included since there is an excellent restaurant in Laureles with a North American breakfast that I prefer. This hotel is just 5 minutes walking to the Estadio Metro station, and in an area completely safe at night, so no worries about security. Also you will not have problems sleeping here, since it is 2 blocks off 70. Wifi is always good there, never had an issue and have stayed there many times over the years.

We arrived sometime before noon and hotel said their check-in time is later, and if we wanted to check-in early there would be an extra payment. This felt like an opportunistic rip-off, so in the end we did not check-in and ended up looking a different hotel in the neighborhood where we could check-in immediately.

Horrible service, not even able to maintain a confirmed reservation.

They gave away my room before I arrived with a confirmed reservation. So, after 15 minutes of confusion by 2 desk clerks, they sent me to a dump of a hotel far away. I had booked Med 70 for the convenient location, so that was 100% ruined.

Small rooms and a lot of issues with bathroom, tv, socket plugs, etc. Staff came many times trying to solve them and they were able to fix some, but some issues they were not able to solve.

Excellent location, close by the 70th ave, but with no noise. All staff were kind and almost all of them were very accommodating.

I paid for an upgrade on the room with a view offered in booking and did not get it the hotel told me they do not have any room with view and I ended up paying almost $100 more for something that was not available
