To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

For a downtown location it couldn’t have been better. Certain of my clients will be put there.

United States of AmericaOur low-rate deal got us a room on a lower floor with no view. No reason to complain for the price we paid. The hotel arranged a driver to take us to the airport the next day. The driver was on time, his car was immaculate, he was a great guy, and the fare was very reasonable.
Restaurant & breakfast. The room was clean and spacious, perfectly acceptable for our lowest available rate. I'm sure more money would get a better room - with a view on a higher floor.

There's room for improvement in the communication from the front desk office, as some information seemed unclear or lacking. On a positive note, the food served at the hotel was exceptional and added to the overall experience.
My stay at GHLwas mostly enjoyable. The staff was incredibly professional and courteous, and the facilities were top-notch. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and its location was convenient for exploring the city.

CuraçaoThe service in the restaurant was not good, not attentive. For instance: they give you a menu, but forget to ask what you would like to drink. And only after 20 minutes they come ask for the order. You ask for coffee, and they just forget.... Explicit requests were not followed up. They have a good wine menu, but the waiter did not even know what a Sauvignon blanc is..... And it was not a busy restaurant! And when you observe, you see that they just do not monitor the guests, but talk to each other or are away.
The hotel has a great restaurant with good food in breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was good, everything you need was available. The hotel is only 100-200 meters from Santa Fe mall and Oviedo mall. With several good restaurants in the neighborhood. It has a nice small spa with two jacuzzi's. No pool.
