The staff are maybe new? The service was sub-par.. for the price and vibe of the hotel you expect a luxury service but it was just a bit lacking. Staff were not very helpful and at times rude. The menu is in English (great) but the Spanish isn’t next to it and none of the staff know the English so we spent a significant amount of time translating the menu back to Spanish which was just a bit annoying but not like bad just irritating. I could go on and on about different ways to improve but I don’t want to take away from the joy we had at the hotel. The location makes up for the lacking service 100%.

This place is just gorgeous... it's surrounded by nature and therefore you see so many beautiful birds everywhere. Our bungalow was spotlessly clean and so cozy. The restaurant was also great, they serve quality food there! I highly recommend it!

We would loved a small cabinet/closet in the accommodation. This was the only we thing we ‘missed’.

We were really impressed by Senda Watapuy. The area/garden was amazing, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and good. The accommodation was spacious, wel taken care of and peaceful. We’ll definitely come back sometimes.

The atmosphere was amazing! The staff was very attentive to our needs. If you are looking for a place to enjoy nature, peace, and quiet this is the place. For food expect to pay 50-75k a night per adult person. Breakfast was free and they had a good selection to order from.

Location in the hills/mountains covered by the jungle is simply out of this world. It is also nearby the entrance of Tyrona park. The rooms are very beautiful and well maintained in the beautiful tropical garden. Spa is great and in an amazing spot of the garden. Restaurant is very good with interesting plates and revisited local cuisine.

Built a hotel of this size into a protected National Park as Tayrona, is not that eco-sustainable. Maybe guests should inform themselfs before visit it.

The Bungalows with our private pools among the nature was unexpected. The calm and energy you can receive from the jungle is priceless. Also, breakfast with views was sublime. You could enjoy it with pool views and ask for a large variety of options.

Such a beautiful location and decorated in a simple, understated but beautiful way to match. Having our own private pool and looking out into the jungle was incredible! Staff couldn’t do enough to help us. The electricity went out in our room and they had fixed it by the time we’d finished our meal. Food was also delicious!

Everything! It's an amazing hotel. It's set in beautiful grounds with a lovely swimming pool. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and other meals were of excellent standard. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The nature is incredible in this place! Seems that you are in your own personal paradise. Cause you live in a villa surrounded by nature and silence. Personal was friendly, helped with every question. Food is delicious, not cheap, but it’s worth it. Sometimes we ordered one plate for two, cause it was big. For now, this hotel is number one in my personal list.

Luz is at the front desk and she is very good with English. She helped organize a taxi to the other property told me about the national park that you have to do which is only a five minute walk from the hotel once you get into the national park be prepared to walk 2 1/2 hours each direction along a beautiful path with great vistas of the beach roughly 10 miles in total, but it’s gotta be done

More variety for breakfast and the option for a cappuccino in the mornings would have been nice. Ditto for in-room tea or coffee options.

Loved everything about our stay. Friendly and helpful staff , excellent rooms/bungalow, pool and common areas. Loved the access to the river. 10 mins walk to the El Zaino entrance making it perfect for Tayrona day trip.

The hotel grounds were spectacular, and the location was perfect for many activities in the area - we especially enjoyed exploring along the river and nearby trails, and it was a short drive to some incredible beaches. The food, service, and rooms were absolutely top notch, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Nothing! It was really perfect and we were sad to leave.

Really one of those once in a lifetime experiences. We loved it! The food was so so good. There's an open kitchen and if it wasn't so hot, it'd be good to do a Chef's Table sort of thing. Our room as beautiful as was the plunge pool which was perfect for our toddler. We did the cocao tour and that was great too. We had a hire car and the hotel's directions worked perfectly for us! Everything was very reasonably priced given the setting and location.

This is a boutique hotel, with a limited choice of bar and restaurant beverages. The food was also just ok for us. Staff speaks either no or very little English, so communication is difficult.

This hotel is beautiful. It is an oasis in the lush jungle, with gorgeous views from the pool, restaurant and bar. Each bungalow has a dip pool. The location is 5 min. drive from Tayrona National Park, 40 min. to Santa Anna, close to beaches, and other activities. Very clean, the staff is personable and nice.

Hard to get sun beds when everyone there

Amazing setting with lovely views and very beautiful grounds. Swimming spot just past the spa in the river that no one seems to go to so very quiet. They also help organise various day trips to local beaches. And the food is great!!

I’m a returning traveler to Senda Watapuy. It’s such a beautiful place with the best views and heartwarming staff. Watapuy offers the comfort of a high quality hotel with direct access to the most beautiful nature. The river and jungle are accessible from the hotel and Tayrona Park is a 10 minutes walk away. The massage team is amazing. I highly recommend this wonderful place!
