the only thing I was not aligned with was the fact that you are not allowed to bring your own drinks inside.... like nada, no beer, no alcohol, no wine, nada. This is kind of dissapointing, because they force you to spend more moeny in their own bar. One night my friends & I bought some rum & coca cola in a liquor store and planned to have pre-drinks before going out partying and the guy in the lobby came to us very upset saying we could not drink alcohol bought outside.... NOT COOL.

EVERYTHING! The location, the pool, the breakfast & specially, meeting people from all over the world and making new friends every single day. Also, the activities organized by the hostel like tours, salsa lessons, Chiva Rumbera at nights, Beer pong, etcetera. Food is great and the bar is super nice to get the party started. I would VERY MUCH recommend staying at this hostel. You wont regret it. It made my stay in Medellín very pleasant. I will come back for sure.

Only negative thing to say is about the one bar staff. There is a sign saying happy hour, 2 for 1 and prices of cocktails. However during happy hour he tried to charge me full price and then some. I asked if it was happy hour and he laughed said sorry and charged my for one cocktail. The price was 5k more. I asked about that and he said he didn’t update the prices on the board. And 35k was correct. Later I found out others were paying the price on the board. So I just felt like he was trying to take advantage really. I also asked for a cocktail later on in the night when it was past happy hour and he said we are just serving beers now. I got the impression he just couldn’t be bothered to make a cocktail. So yeh. Only thing dragging the review down sadly

Some of the staff weren't very friendly, and the breakfast portions were a little disappointing. Overall a good stay though.

All facilities were clean and modern. The beds were incredibly comfy and dorm rooms had huge lockers. Most of the staff were very friendly.

This was by far the nicest hostel I've been to, anywhere in the world. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, the pool is lovely, they have nightly activities available for guests, and our room was top notch. Slept like a baby. It's located on a quiet street in the wonderful Poblado area, walking distance from everything and very close to the metro. Loved it here.

Breakfast was good, fruits, eggs fresh bread and cereal. Fresh orange juice and as many coffees as you like ☕️👌.Reception staff are super friendly and efficient which made check in a breeze. Location and table lay out at breakfast make it very social and a great opportunity to meet others. Dani, Robert and all the cleaning staff are a credit to the Hostel and make everyone feel very welcome.

As for things that could use some improvement, the Wi-Fi was the number one issue. The hotel was gracious enough to allow us use of Netflix streaming services in room. Phenomenal. Great. However, it's almost useless if I have to exit out the app and restart every 10 to 12 minutes just to finish an episode. Upgrade your wifi bandwidth please. Next the game room has so much potential. It's a great start but I hope in the future they invest more into it. As an example we were only able to play at most two or three games. Brawlhalla, and a racing game reminiscent of Mario kart. There was a Disney based racing game but the internet wasnt working correctly so they game couldn't operate like normal. Definitely would urge you guys to buy and allow access to more multiplayer games like call of duty, which seemed to be downloaded onto the system but just couldn't be played without paying. Along with having more games I would definitely urge you guys to have two or three more controllers. Some of these games allowed for more than two players. Moving on to the actual room itself I think the beanie bag chairs are a great start for comfort and for vibe. However, something like a foosball table, air hockey table or corner with plenty of board games would be a welcome addition to the game room. Uno, playing cards, Bop it, puzzles, twister, etc. Perhaps it's because this is just a brand new addition within the last 3 to 6 months it seems so sparse. I hope that the next time I visit it will be full of plenty of activities along with life from the hotel goers.

Id like to start with the people and definitely mention Sophia from the front desk who had exuberant energy and made us feel welcome. Also the cook staff who put out a varying breakfast buffet every morning was great, smiles all around. In many customer service positions it's easy to put that wall up and distance ourselves from the people we serve. Here however, I felt a genuine connection that included personal attributes. That really make the stay memorable. We had a small issue with the hot tub that was quickly rectified with the front desk staff. Awesome. Lastly, I and my partner really appreciated that while we were in limbo waiting for our flight to the next city, they allowed us to stay on the property and still use the facilities like the pool, wifi, etc. It was a 6 hour wait so that's definitely awesome! At the same time we were able to sample to bar amenities. The chicken sandwich was filling and at a good price!

The area felt a little unsafe to walk after dark, which led to me spending more on taxis than planned to get around at night. The hostel also isn't very social, so you don't have a lot of opportunity to meet other people there.

Sophie and Chris at the front desk were absolutely fantastic!! I really appreciated their suggestions and help when making travel plans; I would go back to the hostel just to chat with Sophie more, she is absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was small but delicious each morning. The pool was the perfect temperature for swimming on hot days.

They could provide padlocks for lockers with a refundable fee. They could be emphasizes the quiet hours in everywhere so people remind themselves to keep quiet during night

Breakfast varied a lot from day to day in quality and variety.. you had to arrive early to get to choose From all the options. Only one sun bed in the pool area, would be nice if more than one person could be able to lie down during the day. Or put the hammocks back up! Music almost 24/7.. please lower the music during breakfast. also very loud party music from 11am every day in pool are making it impossible to have a relaxed moment to read a book or something.
