Rooms are quite basic and could use a slight refresh. For a king sized bed they use two single beds and put them together. That was not comfortable. I kept telling my husband that was the continental divide! It was a big hump. It's a good hike up the hill from Montezuma town. Good challenge, but can be a dissuasion from making the trip. On location restaurant has a limited menu and more expensive than it should have been.

Beautiful grounds, with 2 pools, lounge chairs, mini restaurant. Accommodation was stand alone private bungalow, with private outdoor shower. A couple decent restaurants in walking distance if you are up for some hill walking.

On the reviews it talks about the restaurant and we were really looking forward to eating there. What they don’t tell you is that it’s only open half the year. Closed December to May. It was one of the reasons I booked it so very disappointed.

Lovely and quiet, away from the main town, just a short drive away. Wonderful views. Lovely pools and pool towels are provided. Comfortable bed. I loved the outdoor shower.

Amazing vibe and great location with good facilities.The food is also great and you can have Italian, Argentinian and sushi. Marco is an excellent and friendly host . The staff are also very helpful and friendly. We already miss the place.

Nothing! I just suggested to staff to please update their website with the directions in English as the road is now paved from Cobano to Montezuma so they were inaccurate. Also, their sign was not very visible in the daytime and even less at night. We got lost and had no signal.

Loved our apartment and the balcony with a spectacular view. We had lots of privacy which we enjoyed. The staff were helpful when needed and the kitchen was pretty well equipped as we made some of our own meals, Montezuma itself was a drive away but it was nice to be in the hills and enjoying the wildlife (butterflies, birds, iguanas etc) and peace and quiet.

Our king mattress was rather hard and was two smaller mattresses put together leaving a very noticeable seam in the middle of the bed.

The view was stunning, the staff (although minimal) was friendly and helpful, the small on site restaurant was a surprise and made the most delicious food. The bathroom of our room was outdoors which does allow some bugs and salamanders into the room so if that isn’t something you can handle don’t stay here. But we loved the view of a giant plam while showering!

We had an apartment which was farther from the pools but afforded more privacy. The kitchen area was sparsely appointed but with a good refrigerator. Non-plastic coffee cups would be an easy upgrade.

The pools were excellent with many different seating areas. The one breakfast we had was good. Service was friendly and timely. The balcony and view were wonderful.

Really, everything was great.

Simple, comfortable cottages. Ours had a veranda with a view of the sea and the sunrise every morning. Spacious grounds. Unpretentious and lovely. The two small pools were great; fun difference between the two, and not crowded.

The walk to town was fine, but the trip uphill required a quick taxi ride. The reward was well worth it.

The view was phenomenal…amazing sunrises and beautiful stargazing. Chef Martin prepares the best sushi I tasted in Costa Rica. The owner Mark even drove us to the airport.

The room was immaculate. It had a great shower with a view of the sky and plenty of hot water. We had a patio and two pools with incredible views of the ocean about a kilometer away. The onsite restaurant excellent.

The particular unit I was in was nice, clean, however the water pressure in the shower was terrible. I will say this, that when I did bring it to their attention, it was looked into quickly. It was attempted once to correct and a second time. I did have water pressure by the end of the stay.

The public grounds where the pools are located, the quaint eating area, the staff were all fabulous. The sushi prepared by the chef was excellent.

It was fine for us as we had a car but ideally you need a car to stay here as it’s probably about half an hour walk into town (and it would be very steep on walk back)

The only downside is there wasn't a great way to walk into town or the beach. We had a car so it was a quick drive, but it would have been lovely to have a walking path to town. Also, the house could have used a few more kitchen utensils.

Casitas Sollevante exceeded our expectations. The location was even more beautiful in person, there were two pools, one zero depth entry and one deeper infinity pool. The flowering plants next to the pool smelled amazing. There was a very thorough cleaning service each day which was especially nice since you could not flush toilet paper, which is common in CR, and because the floors got a little sandy from our trips to the beach. They would even wash any dishes we didn't get to. There was also an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand which was very useful. The indoor bathroom included local organic handsoap, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner that all smelled lovely. That was an unexpected plus. The onsite restaurant was excellent. The pool and the extraordinary view were really the highlights for us.

The hotel restaurant is a sushi restaurant and very expensive. For example once sushi roll is $16 US. Also you need a car to stay at this property, it’s a long hot walk into town.

Beautiful setting, amazing views and pool. Very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in one of the older units, the two bedroom house. It was clean and worked for us but it didn’t have screens so some mosquitoes inside.

The road to the hotel would be a tough walk from the main road with luggage. I got dropped off directly but the larger tourist shuttles don't go down the road. Not a problem for me but there's were a lot of lizards in the room (I thought they were fun) but if you're scared of them then maybe this isn't the place for you.

The room was super clean and the view and the pool were amazing. It's even better than the photos. The staff were friendly and helpful, easily accommodating food allergies. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. There's a lot of wildlife in and around the hotel. They manage insects very well using ecologically friendly methods. I really enjoyed the stay.
