This little hotel is in the heart of tamarindo , very close to everything restaurants , stores, boutiques , beach ( walking distance ) which is amazing . The owner is very very sweet and friendly , she recommended bunch of places ( we really enjoyed all of them especially live music on thursday market ) , was helpful every time we had any questions . Not to mention she makes amazing breakfast ( included in price which is total steal :) we loved our stay ❤️

Everything! The owner, Elisa, was wonderful! She was very accommodating, answered our questions and gave suggestions. We loved the pool and the breakfast. The property is very quaint and clean with 6 units so very private. Great location to walk to restaurants, boutiques and the night market.

The safety is good but to be honest that door with some huge code that I never remembered it was not the best. It would be better if we had some tag or something like that to go inside.

We loved the location, very quiet but still within walking distance to the center and the beach. The owner was very nice and helped with tips of beaches to visit. Room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was simple but very good, you can choose between some options and she prepares it for you. It felt very safe, with someone available at all times, both during day and night.

Lisa made our 5 days vacation an unforgettable, pleasant experience. Unique in Elixir is the fact that is very quiet but very close to the centre and has a beautiful pool.

Nothing, all was great!

Really great place to stay, spacious rooms, very clean, good air-con, really nice breakfast and lovely staff. It’s located very centrally but not loud at all as it’s up a smaller side road. The cleaner also comes once a day and does a really good job! Would defiantly recommend staying when in Tamarindo (: there is also a really nice pizza place next door called the bake yard, good price good vibe and very easy being next door!

I believe that, for the price of the night, breakfast could be a bit better, with more optiones. The menus has only 4 items, and you can choose 1 every day. The avocado toast was delicous, but I missed like a little cake, some fruits, and more bread options. My suggesiton is for Elisa to partner with the local baker, the one that sells at the farmer's market for instance, and have some more bread options delivered - multigrain, natural fermentation, etc.

This is a brand new hotel. Small, 6 rooms only I think. The instalations are well thought off, to the last detail. Rooms are comfortable, AC works perfectly, enough closet room for all our things, and a good size mini fridge. The shower was really great, and the fact that we had a balcony, just to ourselves, with a table and a couple of chairs, this was amazing. Elisa, the owner, was out of this world. She's the nicest host, always thoughtful and supportive. The whole crew, from the cooking team during breakfast, to the night guard, everyone was really friendly and supportive. Wi-fi works perfectly.

I liked everything

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Elixir. The place looks really nice, it is cosy and quiet, super clean, and the pool is agreeable. It is located very close to the city centre without hearing any noise. It is also very secured. Breakfast is great too (the avocado toast is perfection!). Elisa (the owner) has been very kind and welcoming, and gave us some good tips for our stay. I highly recommend booking there!

Room did smell a tiny bit mildewy but not bad. Might have just been a cleaning chemical or something. That’s my only real feedback, I liked the hotel a lot and would stay again.

This was a great place. The room was lovely, the bed was comfy and the shower is really powerful. The pool is great for a cool down and the trees next to the pool had a variety of colourful birds that would visit. I loved the breakfast here. I had the avocado toast with scrambled egg and it’s delicious. If we visit again and I would definitely stay here. It’s on a quiet street with parking, but only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Tamarindo. The beach is very close by also.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was fab too... lovely shower. Really nice small pool and very convenient for walking into town and the fab beach. Staff and owner were super nice and spoke excellent English. A really nice place.

Location is great for going out at night in Tamarindo and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and modern. Shower was good. The pool looked good though we didn't get to use it during our stay. Breakfast is simple but very good. Do yourself a favor and take a surf lesson with Luca, he works there and he is a very good teacher. He really could tell me why I fell when I did and had good tips from his experience to catch the waves and not fall.

I would suggest putting one more bin in the rooms instead of only the bathroom. They tend to fill up very quickly since you can’t put anything in the loo. Breakfast was just a little bit small.

Loved this hotel, it’s in a perfect location just far enough from the noise of town but very easily walkable to bars/restaurants and the beach. The rooms are lovely and the pool area is gorgeous. We also saw iguanas and loads of beautiful birds during our stay which was a bonus.

Spent 3 nights and really loved it. The location is superb! Walking distance to everything - supermarket, bank, restaurants, bars, markets, beach, shopping - yet somehow slightly tucked away on a peaceful street. Perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable as shown, plenty of clean towels and a fresh tasty breakfast. Beautiful sounds of nature in the morning. The pool is kept very clean and there is plenty of sunbathing/chill out space. Night security, though we felt completely safe walking in and around the whole area during the day and night. The owner is very down to earth, and provided tips on local activities. There is a lot to do and see in the area. We had a car during our 2-week trip, but didn't need it at all for this part of the trip. I would definitely recommend staying in Tamarindo for longer if you can.

Breakfast options were limited and the food wasn’t memorable. The street the hotel is located on is in pretty poor condition and there’s trash on its edges.

Beautiful small boutique hotel. Quiet. Clean. Comfy beds. Excellent location across the street from Dragonfly restaurant and a block from another great spot. 3 minute walk to the grocery store. 12 minute walk to the beach.
