The hosts Claude and Teresa are very hospitable and compassionate. They showed me the different animals and plants in their back yard, ate breakfast with me, and treated me like family. The house is kept very clean and I was very comfortable there.

I would have felt more at home if I could have cooked food. I wasn't a huge fan of Golfito after staying for one night so I left early.

This was a quaint stay in Golfito. The bed was comfy and it was nice to have the room to myself. The porch was really cool and comfy. Right by the river, too. You could walk up the river and explore but I didn't stay long enough to do so. The owners were very kind and hospitable.

An authentic cosy private accommodation. The hosts were very welcoming. The homemade food was good and reasonably priced. The terrace had a view on the jungle so that you can see birds and other animals while you have breakfast.

Teresa and Claude are the Heart and Soul of this mansion and they will make your stay unforgettable. Room and bathrooms are super clean, you can sit in their garden and use their porch in the evening. It's so relaxing! They offer selfmade (very good and very Costa Rican) breakfast/lunch/dinner for very fair prices if you wish. Can only recommend, very delicious! They can help you with everything, just ask them. Day Trips, National Park, Bus and Transfers? No problem, they will know. Muchas Gracias por todo, Teresa y Claude!

Really charming place. Claudio and Teresa are lovely people and incredible hosts. It was a unique and special experience to stay in their home. The back yard and garden are also a perfect spot to see wildlife and flora while sipping morning coffee. Claudio is a great guide for the area and wildlife afficionado and Teresa is a great cook as well!

I love how this place is close to the bank and a convenient location with sweet owners and a delightful neighborhThe Golfito Marina is also within walking distance. A decent walk to the airport and the Deposito Libre. Super convenient. Don Claudio will also drive you for $6. Meals are delicious and reasonably priced. My third visit here.

I’m trying to think of things. It’s a bit hot in the house. But the room has a fan for sleeping, so that was fine.

Amazing value for money. Comfortable family home on the edge of town, right next to the forest. Great view of the river and forest and animals (small outdoor area), comfortable room, very nice hosts, nice breakfast. Quiet.

Our host Claudio and Theresa made us feel really comfortable, we felt like they really enjoy having us staying at their house. It feels really nice to stay at a local's place. We even enjoyed a great dinner prepared by them with local fresh food. I wish we could have stayed longer. Little plus : we could rent 2 bikes from them and they offered us the equipment to go snorkling. Merci & Gracias por todo, pura vida !

I loved everything.

The garden is enchanting and quite peaceful. Claudio taught me alot about the local plants and birds. Teresa made an exceptional fish dinner, and a delicious Tico breakfast with an amazing fruit salad and Gallo pinto.
