There is no window directly to outside. I requested for a different room but there was only a window to hallway that had open roof

The shower heads should be replaced as some of them were clogged and not working properly. Also some of the bedsheets had stains on them and we got a room that had a heavy smell of mold and humidity damage.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, breakfast was good, rooms were spacious.

Everything was good with my stay, but the carpet was not fully cleaned. The carpets need a good vacuum and deep clean. I wore my slippers in the room because the carpet made my feet dirty.

I wish they offered transportation to the airport. There was not noise control. Someone was having a party all night in one of the rooms

Used as a final stop before our flight home so we just needed something basic. It was very clean and the staff were really nice and helpful.

Paying extra for the parking space. It is a private parking building, really close but after some hours the parking is closed and you have to wait for the Security guard to come and open.

The body gel dispenser was empty the shower curtain was damage, the light of the bathroom was damage also and there was no coffee maker on the room.

Wi-fi was really bad in my room, regularly cutting out.great stay overall. It was close to where I had dental appointments.

However, there were some parts of the stay that were poor. The room was very basic and really suffered from a lack of natural light. The main problem with our room was the sink, which was so blocked with grime and muck that it wouldn't drain properly. The facilities also seemed below par, although we didn't actually use them. The hottub/plunge pool looked quite sorry for itself and the gym consisted of one treadmill.

The hotel is definitely a "get what you pay for" sort of place. Overall we had a comfortable stay, which is all we needed as we were only there for one night following a long flight, before heading off to explore more interesting places. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Check in/out was straightforward and most things in the room worked. The standout part of the stay was breakfast. Staff were very welcoming. And although options were limited, this was similar to most other places we stayed in the country. And the quality was probabaly above average.

The room smelled mildewy. And we were wishing we had a mini fridge to keep the things we bought cold.

Good value for money. The breakfast was good. Nice lobby and staff. Nice to have AC. We were in San Jose because we had an appointment at the US embassy and the embassy was close by.

There is not much parking available. There is an elevator, but the staff did not advise of it, which made lugging a suitcase up a staircase using an injured shoulder a problem.

The location is a bit displaced from the central part of the city, but that makes it quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was ample, with lots of choices.

The furniture in the room is outdated and the carpet in the room helps with keeping mold and other allergy inducing beings

A/C fan very noisy. Remote control and A/C unit didn’t always work together. Need much quieter equipment. Carpet in room needed vacuuming.

This hotel is right on the Sabana Park, albeit a slightly west of ground zero all the "action". It's a nice, quiet hotel and doesn't seem to be filled with tour groups. I'm not sure where the parking is for travelers with cars, but that wasn't a factor for us, as we used a taxi from the airport. If you need a taxi to get around to get around, the staff is happy to call one for you. We arrived on the eve of the big Festival de la Luz, followed by the World Cup Final the next day. So, being situated directly across from the national stadium and near the festival parade route, I'd say we found the experience at this location really added to our trip. On a final note, the hotel infrastructure is very good and what I really appreciate was that the hot water in the shower came on quickly (unlike the shower in the hotel used by our tour, which to be run for 10-15 minutes). There's even an emergency phone in the bathroom.

Typical Costa Rican breakfast was ok. Spacious room, bit dated but ok. Friendly staff!!

Hot tub was more of a cold fountain, not actually heated or functional. Exercise facilities were tiny, parking space was also very tight - though I'm sure glad it was there, and the car was safe, so no problem!

Lovely breakfast, friendly staff. A quiet, comfortable place to sleep and recover from the long day of travel.
