We spent a whole week at Tee-k. We enjoyed every morning the amazing breakfast and the beautiful sounds in the garden at sunrise! Arthur and Claire prepared packed breakfast for us half of the mornings when we started the day early for trips farther away. We did have a car and made it very convenient with a short drive to beach.

The property was spacious, gorgeous landscaping safe free parking space for our rented car , quiet , lovely hammocks and swimming pool , clean room and bathroom. The dining area was large overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool , large clean kitchen, hosts personal hygiene, special personal touches to the beautiful outdoor and indoor. The breakfast was served plenty of delicious fresh fruits home made baked goods and fresh yogurt. The best caring and friendly hosts we met on this trip . We were very lucky and grateful to find this wonderful place unfortunately we found them at end of our journey . We would definitely book a longer stay . This was the best value and location in Costa RicaTamarindo 🙏🏽 Thanks Arthur and Claire , for picking us up when we arrived and taking time to drive us to our car rental office , we are very grateful for your generosity and hospitality. A true pleasure and honour to meet you both . Hope we will see you next winter in 2025 .

Beautiful, the villa was private , clean , well equipped with water , clean monogram towels, The host took their personal time to ensure we were comfortable with our surroundings.

Great hosts with nice breakfast including homemade yoghurt and cookies. A bit far from the centre, but has a big garden with swimming pool. Clean and quiet. We would stay there again!

Beautifully appointed and clean room with comfortable sheets and bed, and lovely fluffy towels (bath and pool/beach). Incredible French style breakfast - an absolute highlight of the day! Lovely pool and garden area, and location is just ten minutes outside of Tamarindo, so perfectly away from the hustle and bustle. Very helpful and friendly staff

The owners of the house were so friendly and always smiling. With a rental car, their location was amazing for us ( I cannot advise how it would have been without the car ). Very easy check-in and check-out. The room was like a small apartment: very big, a lot of light, a small fridge, spotless both the room and the bathroom ( nice shampoo, conditioner and soap ). Delicious breakfast prepared freshly by the hosts. The pool was amazing, clean and we could use it late in the evening for relaxation. I hope we will be back soon!

This place as absolutely amazing if you like comfort and peace We were 4 kilometers from tamiando and had a beautiful room with outside hammocks and an infinity pool Breakfast was great homemade crepes and yogurt with fresh fruit coffee and juice Amazing host and great place definitely 125 percent recommend staying here

Wifi was not good enough in the room

This was an exceptional stay! Everything in the hotel brand new & newly renovated. Our room wqs very clean and silent, breakfast was great next to the pool with delicious espresso. Claire and Arthur were great hosts, only focused our comfort. Location is also good, far enough from Tamarindo’s crowd but also close enough to drive, just 10 minutes away. We also asked them a taxi and in case you dont want to drive you can arrange taxi and they pick you from the door. We could not ask for more! Thank you:)

Lack of toiletries or cloths hangers. The kitchen didn't have any equipment of any kind. All round feeling of being run on a small budget. Breakfast felt cut back to bear minimum.

Nice pool, comfortable bed quiet location and gardens. Secure and gated. AC was quiet.

It would have been helpful if there was access to cups, forks, knifes, plates, etc, so that we didn't have to always eat out at a restaurant. To be fair, we didn't ask for them during our short stay, but it was an observation that would likely have been more of an issue if we had stayed longer in the area. The TV didn't work for us (because you need access to reliable wifi/Netflix account/a laptop to project to the screen; i.e. no "regular" tv channels), which was fine for the adults but the child was disappointed. Also, no ammenties like shampoo (a bar of soap and towels were provided) were available, although we did have our own. In comparison to the facilities provided at other places we stayed in CR, the price was a bit high in comparison, but still reasonable overall, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you! (7.5/10).

The owners were lovely! Room was spacious, new and clean. Absolutely lovely grounds/pool. Safe (b&b is gated). Although the road to the b&b was bumpy (what roads aren't in CR?!), we liked that it wasn't located in the centre of Tamarindo (which we found to be far too busy). A simple breakfast that met our needs was provided.

In one of our two rooms the shower drained so slowly only one person could take a shower every 10-12 hours. I’m sure the hostess will have fixed it by the time the next guest arrives, but it put a crimp in our stay.

Beautiful gated home in a good location. Just outside of our door was a nice garden and swimming pool. The breakfast was very good.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and it’s a perfect location, far enough away from town to be peaceful but yet close enough to get to town in 10 mins. The hosts Sonja and Sebastian are a great couple who make sure your stay is comfortable, Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tee-K lodge. The room was nice. Also is the garden. There are lots of hammocks available (inviting to relax) During the day (also in the evenings) you can hang out at the pool. The owners Clair & and Steve (a very lovely French couple) are very caring. They have been very helpful with any kind of requests, we had. e.g. adjusting beakfast (yummi ;o) or giving advice for places to go. Also we could make use of the outdoor kitchen (incl. fridge) If you like you can prepare yourself your own meal. In case you need to go to a restaurant or grocery shopping, you can order a taxi for appr. $7. Going to Tamarindo by taxi will be $10 (one way). We also liked hanging out with the other guest at the pool. For the price you pay for the room, you get a very good value in return and also beakfast is included. ;o) Thanks Clair & Steven for taking such good care of us.

A few notes about the location: this was my only surprise when I arrived at Tee-K Lodge, and I think it's a particular kind of traveller that would love this accommodation. It's a bed and breakfast, so not a typical chain hotel - but this is definitely what made it feel special. It is, however, not centrally located - so if you are expecting a hotel on the beach in Tamarindo, this is not it. Not only that, but it's very remote - it's located in a smaller village of Tamarindo, off a side road, and not near much of anything. So for that reason, as Claire explained, most of her guests have a car or other set transportation. I was not prepared not to have easy access to shops, markets, atms, etc., so I was a little concerned when I first checked in. HOWEVER, if you have a car or have transportation arranged for the days you stay, this is no problem. I made sure to book two all-day tours where my meals would be supplied and transportation to and from the lodge provided, so I was completely fine. And Claire offered to arrange transportation should I need to make a stop at a bank or market - she was very, VERY accommodating. And perhaps coming from a traditional beach resort, I didn't prepare myself for what to expect. But everything was more than fine! You can simply let drivers know the name and they can find it in Waze. It's only about 10 minutes from that main part of Tamarindo. But it's not walkable the way the hotels along the beach would be. I did find the door to the adjoining room to be a bit thin, in that I could hear those guests clearly - but other than a few conversations they had, again this was no big inconvenience.

My stay at Tee-K Lodge Tamarindo was wonderful! Steve and Claire are wonderful hosts and really go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and arrangements you need are well met. The room was HUGE and very adorably furnished :) The bathroom and showers were perfect (always hot water, even if it was a little hard to regulate sometimes but again nbd) and I had everything I needed as far as blankets, extra toiletries, etc. The AC and fan worked great, and I had no issues with the WiFi - all worked well. There weren't tons of bells and whistles, but I had everything I needed and always felt comfortable. The grounds are lovely. There is a pool I never used but it looked very nice, and walking around in the morning gave me a very peaceful vibe. They also have a family cat that is the best! Mostly, I loved this place because of Steve and Claire. They are fantastic hosts, and made me feel safe and like any problems I had, they could resolve. Claire was especially helpful. I was perhaps an annoying guest with all my questions and favors, and she was always so friendly and happy to accommodate. She worked out my transport twice - once for a day tour and once for a shuttle to the airport. I had issues with my room lock and she quickly came to fix (Steve as well!) Bc I had early morning starts both days of my stay, she made sure I still had my included breakfast to-go. And the breakfast I actually was able to sit down for was delicious! Both hosts were always very available on WhatsApp with any questions - of which I had many lol. But they really were wonderful and I was so grateful for their help. It's a very personable experience staying at Tee-K, a nice break from the traditional resort I was coming from.

The lock on my door was very difficult to operate but other than that I was so happy with my stay!

Tee-k lodge way exceeded my expectations. The owner was incredibly sweet and left homemade breakfasts in the fridge for us everyday when we overslept through breakfast. She went above and beyond and I am so impressed. I will definitely recommend and come back again. Beautiful pool.

The cleaning in the common areas like swimming pool and bbq can improved however in general we loved our stayed.

Claire and Steive are very lovely people. They were very nice and very responsive. Breakfast was very tasty with a bit of a french vibe.The place is good located in a very quiet place around nature.

Claire and her husband were very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and changes every day. The room was very big and clean and had his personal touch. The whole B&B area is a lovely garden with a nice pool and BBQ area which you can use whenever you want. Additionally we felt super safe due the security gate.

The owners were very helpful, they even prepared breakfast very early for me before my dive trip. It's a bit far away from Tamarindo but very silent though..you can here the jungle all night. The garden with pool is amazing! The breakfast was very delicious! The rooms are big with a cosy bed.
