The aircon took ages to get cool. The shower was very small and confining.

I love my tea and coffee so would have loved these facilities in my room.

Quaint small hotel in Central Mindelo. No.pool or restaurant but staff more than made up for that. A good breakfast buffet plus you could order snacks eg sandwiches, coffee etc all day long. A lovely rooftop terrace gave views across Mindelo. Always happy and willing to help, they treat you like a member of the family. While everyone was fab I'd like to pick out Jaizela for going just that little bit further. She did her job so well and had a wonderful friendly manner. Thank you Kira's hotel for a great two night stay!

The hotel was lovely, in a quiet area bit still close to the city center and the beach. The rooms are comfy, clean and airconditioned. The breakfast area was cute too. We got great recommendations from the staff, who were generally so lovely. We also felt super safe, as there was a guard present at all times. We even recommended the hotel to other travellers we met later.

The hotel is extremely comfortable and in an excellent location. The staff were all helpful- nothing was too much trouble. Isabel, the owner/manager is wonderful! She gave us lots of tips and advice and made us feel personally very welcome.

The water pressure in the shower was not the best but even that, wasnt too bad.

Everything was nice and neat. Super clean, comfy bed, super friendly staff, great breakfast. The area was nice too, walking distance to the ferry.

Bathroom was super small and there was a water leakage from somewhere as there was a noise like if the water reservoir from the toilet was broken or something. From my point of view the cost-benefit is a bit high.

Room was clean and tidy, good breakfast, staff is extremely attentive, the hotel is close to bars, restaurants and also close to the ferry port and close to Laginha beach. The room was comfortable, with complimentary water, AC and a ceiling fan. Toiletries are provided.

Room was fine. Hotel and room just a bit bland. A bit expensive compared to other places. Probably wouldn't return, but would aim for somewhere a little more interesting.

Close to centre of Mindelo. Very good buffet style breakfast. A reliable choice.

The only thing I missed was a good coffee with my breakfast, the coffee available was some kind of instant coffee. But not such a big thing, more than enough places to drink a good coffee in Mindelo! We liked our stay a lot!

I liked our stay at Kira’s very much. Very good location, safe, always someone available for everything. Friendly staff, very delicious breakfast. The breakfast was also locally inspired, selfmade bread, cake, yoghurt, juice, catchupa …, but if you just want a continental breakfast there is also more than enough choice!

On our second night we had a room facing the street. It got pretty loud until about 11 pm.

Breakfast was amazing. There was lots of variety in the buffet selection, from homemade bread to homemade yogurt and freshly made omlettes or fruit juice, there was nothing more we could want. Also, the room was very nice and the owner was very helpful regarding dinner choices, the ferry schedule and arranging transportation. We liked it so much, we came back for another night after returning from Santo Antao.

The staff is amazingly courteous and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast has lots of options and is well prepared. They have a lovely patio. The location is great. There are lots of restaurant options and it’s close to the beach, Praia Laginha.
