Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

I felt right at home in this hostel, it felt safe as a solo female traveler and the other guests (many of them staying there long term) all were super friendly and welcoming. Great to have a separate female dorm and large kitchen and dining area.

Some cushions for the sofas would be really nice
The Owner Pedrus and Gabriella were super cool. Room was not so crowded, loads of outdoor spots to relax.

- further from the center - shelves at the top of the bunk would help a lot - a cockroach in the bathroom (I hope this was the only exception) - only two bathrooms, 12 people - it can get really busy

The room is rather small and there are only 2 bathrooms to share between all the guests, leading to some waiting time.
There is a beautiful vibe throughout the property, with a surrounding garden and terraces and a colourful design inside.

Shower acted weird, hard to get warm water. The street lights were bright and lighted the room.
The manager and volunteers were nice, really friendly environment with other guests.

Petros the owner is a really good guy. It's a clean and beautiful place, in good location. It's also a place where you can meet nice people.

Personally I did not vibe too well with some of the long-stayers of the hostel; this of course is only indicative that some people are actually very big fan of this hostel, so not a problem ler se, but just be aware that there are people who have been there 6+ months and that quite many people work remotely :)
The location was pretty good, the volunteers were friendly, and everything was clean. I heard that the host was a pretty chill guy too, but didn't meet him until I was leaving the hostel unfortunately :)

I didn't expect that sockets on Cyprus are different, be aware!
People in the hostel are awesome: both guests and the owner, Petros the great! Despite it is a hostel, there's enough space

The bed was done, I felt the bedsprings every time.
It is a lovely hostel and the owner is very polite. Even the showers and the rooms are clean. I enjoyed staying there! You got towels served and could've used everything you want there!

Petrus is a wonderful and helpful owner with him you get the feeling that he is your brother in this hostel everything is as it should be in this type of accommodation: clean, quiet, modest and economical Beautiful iconography along the walls and in the embrace of greenery Definitely recommend

Lemongrass was super nice and has a relaxed atmosphere. There is a lot of colour and it has a lovely lemon tree I got to pick from for my water. It’s clean and staff are kind. I met amazing people. It’s close to city. I could not of asked for more from Lemongrass. Highly Recommended.

some heaters or AC as the nights were quite cold.
Great vibe, perfect for solo traveling. It reminds me of old-school hostels where it was all about meeting other travelers, people with free spirits. Currently, most hostels are just simple and cheap ways to spend a night... Lemongrass offers much more.

Everything was great!
Owner Petras is really nice and helpful, answers all questions and has recommendations for where to go and eat. The house itself feel super comfortable, possibility to spend time with people and be social but also find quiet areas and chill in the backyard. The big supermarket is only 5-7mins away by foot. Old town is accessible in 10-15minutes and Old Port max 20minutes. The place itself is clean and is kept clean several times a day. Will definitely recommend for everyone who wants to visit Limassol.
