Didn't realise had to check in at the wine shop, by luck an employee had turned up to collect something from the building where the accommodation was and she helped us. Also had to ring a number to have the gate opened to drive car in and out to park which was a pain. Also view from toilet onto tennis courts as no blind on bathroom window which was very heavy...

Location very central, clean modern apartment. Good wifi, nice big bath, fridge, air con and kettle. Lovely selection of breakfast, served in the wine shop (same name as apartment) a few minutes walk from the apartment, this is also the place you need to check in.

- room was not properly cleaned - the fridge was dirty inside (even with some mold) and the trash bin had not been emptied (with trash from previous guests still inside) - the bathroom had a big and completely transparent window (not opaque like almost all bathroom windows) and there was no curtain whatsoever, so people could fully see inside the bathroom (there was a tennis court and some parking in the view of the bathroom, for example) - no blackout curtains (just some privacy shield in the room), so the room got bright at sunrise at 5:30 am and I woke up early every day due to that - the bathroom window could not be opened - just by luck I saved the window from breaking when trying to tilt it and then the whole window came towards me (the owner later noticed also and said the mechanism must be broken) - while it might be nice to have a bathtub if you want to take a bath, it was quite impractical every day when wanting to take a shower, as there was nowhere to hang the showerhead and no curtain to not make the rest of the bathroom wet - so I basically had to shower while sitting down in the bathtub - no room service or cleaning - only on request I got more toilet paper (if they don't have room service, at least it would be good to have enough toiletries, toilet paper, etc. for the whole duration of the stay of the guest, so one doesn't have to go ask for more) - rooms are poorly insulated, both to the outside and the inside (so even if the general area is rather calm, whenever there is some noise, one can hear it) - breakfast is very poor with very little choice, so I opted not to take it anymore - quite expensive for what was offered - feedback did not seem welcome by the staff - they questioned me about my previous stay's review and rather than taking the feedback as opportunity to improve their accommodation, I was asked why I even came back (but now for sure, this was my last time to stay there)

+ very good location close to the city center + WiFi was working fine + big bathtub if you want to take a bath (but not practical if you want to take a shower, see comment below) + design of the rooms looks nice at first sight + air condition available and working relatively silently

- breakfast was really a huge dissapointment; it only started from 7:30 onwards (too late for business travelers like myself) and the selection and quality of the breakfast was so bad that I even skipped breakfast on the second morning (I have tried many hotels in Czech Republic and also in Pardubice, but this one was likely the most disappointing breakfast I have ever had) - cleanliness should be improved: while the room looked superficially clean at first sight, some details like the kettle and the tray were heavily dusty and probably not cleaned for a longer time - poor sound isolation: just thin windows (probably one-layered glass?), so one could even hear the sound of the peacocks in the distant Pardubice castle with closed windows (luckily the area around the hotel is not too noisy, though) - the invoice could not be issued to me on the day of the check-in, although I paid directly on that day (all other hotels in Czech Republic could do that without a problem) - only after lots of pushing to the employees who were present (none of whom could do the invoice) and sending a mail, I received the invoice via email before my departure

+ central location within a short walk from the historic city center + free parking (although with a bit weird system: you have to register your phone number at the reception, then call a Czech number and then the door to the parking in a courtyard opens - without your phone you can't open the door and would even be trapped inside the courtyard, as the door closes very quickly again) + design of the apartment is nice + bathroom is spacious and nice + WiFi was working reliably and fast enough

The check-in and breakfast was a bit confusing (both located in a different building, the building with the vinoteka). The breakfast was rather simple and limited, only instant coffee available.

We ran a bit later than the check-in time, which we called to ask about, and the reception was kind and helpful and was okay with us being a bit late. The bathroom was huge, nice and clean.
