Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe bed sheets were a little rough. No kettle in the room which would be handy for those that required one. Walls very thin so not ideal for light sleepers. The lights above the bed can’t be moved far enough away on one side of the bed and are quite low
The location was perfect for us, 20mins by bus to/from the air port and a five minute walk. An extra 15mins by metro into the old town. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Asked if a late check out would be possible, very accommodating and allowed us to check out at 2pm rather than 11am. Hotel was clean and tidy throughout. Bedroom was great for what we needed. We paid £60 for the night and feel this was a fair price, this included breakfast the next morning with plenty to choose from. The Ballon restaurant attached is also very reasonably priced and food is lovely.

RomaniaA negative aspect is represented by the rather thin walls so that you can hear even the smallest noises from the neighboring rooms, creating a lack of privacy.
This hotel is not much different than others with more stars, in the way it offers its services. Somewhat conveniently located halfway between the airport and the city center, although not on the main boulevard, it offers easy access to public transportation (trolley with rapid transfer to and from the airport, tram, metro). It is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic area - for those who prefer this. You can also reach the old town by walking for approx. 50 minutes, but the route can challenge those who want to, due to differences in level and the many streets that have to be changed. The rooms are quite spacious, with functional furniture, a generous bathroom, clean and properly equipped. The breakfast is varied, the staff very efficient and prompt. A positive aspect is the availability of the room earlier than the standard time, given that many other top hotels are extremely inflexible in these situations, even without a specific justification.

RomaniaI never complain about thin walls in hotels, but this one had really thin walls, it was like the neighbors were taking a shower in my room and watching tv in my room. I could hear everything. Also although the tv had netflix it did not work - reception confirmed it.
The bed was confortable. The breakfast was very good, had plenty of choices.

Czech RepublicThere is a lovely restaurant adjacent to the hotel, where you can get dinner (the Caesar salad was amazing) and where breakfast is served. As I had an early flight and had to leave before breakfast was served, they offered to make me a bag to take with: two sandwiches, fruit, and a juice. This was fantastic! It is possible to walk to the station Veleslavin, from where you can get a bus to/from the airport.

GreeceSo convenient, absolutely great for families. Just 20 minutes from the airport using 119 bus. 6-7 minutes walk from the bus/tram/metro stop. 15 minutes from the main Prague sightseeings (use metro A Line and it's 4th stop Malostranska and then get tram 22 or 23 to the Castle, or the historic 42 - highly recommended for a quick ride around the town- 5th stop Starostmestka for the old town Christmas Market and Charles Bridge and Clock Tower, 6th stop Mustek for Wencesclas Square, 7th stop Muzeum for the National Museum). Very good breakfast, very good restaurant with excellent prices so you don't have to look around if you're travelling on a budget (you'll find their menu in your room). Fantastic staff, always there to help you, really impressed. Rooms as expected, no drama here, super clean. We travelled as a family to Prague for the Christmas break and it was just great to stay there.

GermanyThe breakfast area was too small for the amount of people and it was quite chaotic, it was too uncomfortable so we decided to not use it (although it was included). And it would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room to store our own drinks or food
