It's an adorable place. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for walking our luggage from the bus stop, as well as walking into the town to see the sites.

Nothing really. Just be prepared to climb the stairs with your heavy luggage as the building is a refurbished 16th century building.

Thank you so much Klara and the team from Penzion for providing us with not only a clean facility but also a warm hospitality. The Hotel is only 8 mins walk from the central bus station and 5 mins walk to the market square. The dining area which was opened 24/7 provided us with not only hot tea but delicious Christmas cookies. I will recommend this hotel for those who plan to visit Cesky Krumlov.

The acoustics in the breakfast room and in the corridors could be improved. It was sometimes a bit loud when other guests were moving around.

Brand new accommodation with great size rooms, which are very stylishly decorated. Spotless clean. Breakfast was great and service nice. The location is perfect to explore the town, and P5 parking is very close as well.

Excellent location from the bus stations and main road. Easy access for travellers handling luggage. Very close distance to town square and castle tower. Online check-in and key collection was easy and brilliant. Quiet room and well facilitated. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommended to my friend to stay in Penzion KOVÁRNA.

It's a self-serve check-in which is fine, until it isn't. I've included a picture of the directions we received that included # to punch in along with a picture of the keypad which has no # on it. We had reserved parking and had directions to pay at reception during breakfast. There was no one at reception during breakfast. When we left at 10 no one was there, we came back at noon, still no one around. When we left again at 2, there was someone in reception. We stayed two nights and did not have any room service, which is fine with us, but maybe let people know if someone is going to be coming in your room while you're gone or leave a "do not disturb/clean the room" sign to hang on the door.

Location was excellent. Hotel was newly renovated so it was in excellent shape. Breakfast was excellent--lots of variety--especially the eggs--scrambled and sunny-side up.

No coffee machine in the room. My wife found the bed too hard. They say they have parking, but the number of spaces is far fewer than the number of rooms in the Pension.

The second bedroom bed is tiny and better suited for a child. The apartment on the top floor has steeply declining ceilings so a few of us hit our heads several times.

This pension is brand new and very clean. The room are very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast small but complete and good and fresh. Just a suggestion: put a little table with char for whom wants to work on PC. It would be possible in the room I had in replacement of the two armchairs and little low table that makes the room very beautiful and welcoming but less functional.

The property originated in 1624 as a blacksmith shop. This completely reconstructed accommodation was spotlessly clean, well appointed and provided a very comfortable stay in every respect. The breakfast was more than ample with a wide variety of food to choose from. The owner/operator was most pleasant and accommodating. We can highly recommend. The location is central making the town easily walkable.

Beds a bit hard

This property is brand new, beautiful furniture and fittings. Linen, towels etc first class. Rooms and bathroom spacious and well appointed. As an Australian I found the bed very firm. Breakfast was fresh, well cooked and well provisioned. George the host is great, cooks a great breakfast. Internet was down one afternoon and he was fast to fix. Great location at the top of the hill away from the noise. Thankyou George for a great stay.
