Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRan out of toilet paper and the office was never staffed. Also really close to the tram which was quite loud and shook the bed. Net very relaxing!
My room was small and cute. Brno is definitely a city worth seeing. I was there for a few days prior and stayed at a different hotel. Brno is a gem!

PolandOf course the accommodation could have been for free and feature a gold-plated WC with a mini bar fully-served by skimply-clad young ladies, plus involve cash handouts - which it lamentably did not, but other than lacking these I can't see any substantial gripes to have.
Facility is facing a fairly busy street with street car, but the windows are good enough to muffle it for the most part, and the noise does not bother. For summer you don't need to keep them open, as the A/C takes care of temperature. My room was a bit tight in higher portion (being the corner of the gable roof), so for a 196 cm (6'7") guy half of the room was literally a 'no-go' territory. On the other hand - I needed a place to sleep and that's why I got. A place to sleep with a HUGE sitting corner bath and a fridge. Take you tea or coffee, but you got a kettle and mugs all right. AND the facility is on the other side of the street from the Brno Fair, so you got close to the facility (at least if it is not in Pavillion B, for which you have to walk around 3/4 of the circumference of the Fair Ground - and it is a BIG one - but that's not the hotel's fault). AND it has a parking - pretty useful in what amounts to a non-parking zone (actually called the Zone C, or blue-lined). Word of care, folks: take their parking, or else you'll have to pay for it every two hours by a txt message to the city, *throughout the entire night*. The Brno city parking system is super-hostile to the visitors: you pay only 5PM to 6AM (which in most European cities are happy-hours with free parking) and you can't pay for the whole night in one go and just take a nap, but instead you have to renew payment every two hours. Welcome to Brno, our dear guests!

Czech RepublicVery strange room layour - the ground floor rooms we had did not have real windows. There are small windows there but they face to the coridor. This is good for reducing street noise (which otherwise would be bad) but not good for fresh air and natural light. It reminded me of the "capsule hotels". Ok for a short stay.
Great location close to the Exhibition Center and public transport Recently reconstructed rooms Private parking

CroatiaThe shower drains were not the best. Noise isolation also ok, but the room which we got was not exactly as the picture, but ok. No toiletries or anything. Could always be cleaner, but for 1 night totally sufficient.
I liked that it wasn’t far from the tram station which leads to the main station near the city center. It was also quite clean and beds comfortable.

Italy1. Communication is as poor as it could be. I have sent a grand total of 3 messages to the owner, but never received any reply. Including before my arrival, asking for the check-in time, or even whether my booking was ok. Another review mentioned that the guy said he did not understand how Booking's messaging works, but I think it really is the fact that he does not speak English. There was 1 young guy who did the translation, but that was about it. 2. The reception is literally in front of the pedestrian walk. This means that if you have a problem with the room, you have to leave the building on the public road. That, if they happen to be around as the office opens during a very very limited hour. I had no way of contacting anyone since apparently, no one monitored the Booking messenger anyway. 3. The room does not even try to pretend that it wants you to feel any comfort. Let's start with the fact that there is no visible electricity plug in my room (no 15, on the corner of 1st floor). Someone later came with an extension cable after I complained to Booking. The wifi code is printed on the keychain but no one bothers to tell me. There is an AC which I kind of hoped could work as extra heating (the only heating is the radiator in the hallway), but there was no remote. I only realized it after the closing hour of the reception. There is no table to work, only a low coffee table where they put the TV. The fridge was off, and there was a grand total of 4 mugs and glasses, 1 spoon, and 1 kettle. I don't understand whether they were trying to accommodate tea/coffee making but there is not even any place to buy tea/coffee nearby. Oh yeah, there are no groceries nearby so be prepared. The bathroom is clean, but for some reason when I showered, I felt some tingles when touching the wall and the shower head akin to electrocution. 4. Stale air because of the weird window placement, not so great sound insulation.
The location. If you are visiting for either something that is happening at the fair or the Faculty of Economics like me, then this place is a great choice. It is almost right in front of the tram line. Clean bathroom. The guy who spoke English looked like he was trying to be helpful.

HungaryVery loud room just meters away from a heavy traffic road. If windows are closed air circulation is not really good but even with that you can feel the passing cars and trucks shaking the room in addition to hearing them all over the night. Mattrasses are worn-out and have U shape in the middle.
Smooth remote check in. Room is equipped with enough things (e.g. AC, bathroom, towels, sheets, etc. all fine).

PolandThere were no outside windows. The windows from the room led to the corridor (which then had outer windows), but the AC worked good enough for this not to be this much of a problem.
Potent AC in the 30+ degrees heat outside was the sh*t.
