Breakfast was average. I would have preferred fruit cut up instead of whole, and I personally would have liked more variety. One of the faucets in the bathtub was broken.

Excellent location! I chose a room with a balcony. The room was spacious and the view from the room was fantastic! We have been to Marienbad several times and the view from my room at this hotel is the best. I know that because of the season, we got a good value, but it might be even better in spring/ summer. We would like to come back again. It is a little small, but there is a pool and sauna. It was clean. We loved their soft water!

Cleanliness was lacking slightly. I would see the same stain on the staircase for two days. Unfortunately, carpets are quite dated and would deserve some cleaning too. You can see that the hotel doesn't keep up with many maintenance issues such as missing lightbulbs nearly everywhere or cobwebs on chandeliers.

Great location, just in the city centre. The hotel staff was very nice, especially both friendly and helpful receptionists (day and night shift) or housekeeping. You can see that they do try their best for the hotel guests to feel welcome. Nice sauna and swimming pool, even though a little small if more guests would come and use those facilities at the same time, perfect for 2-4 people. Breakfast and dinner were decent, too. I wouldn't say exceptional, but I am sure everyone can find something they like. Nice and tasteful decor that is matching the grand style of Marienbad.

The sauna could be bigger and there were no whirlpools on in the swimming pool..which was a pitty.

I have enjoyed the hotel, breakfast and also the staff at the reception. It is located in a beautiful place in the centre of Mariánské Lázně Spa.. The weather was great. The sun was shining and it was snowing at the same time the whole weekend. Even though the sauna was not very spacious (just for two people), the swimming pool and the atmosphere were gorgeous!! SPA procedures

We spent a wonderful six days in Sun Palace Spa & Wellness. The hotel is located in the center of the resort, 50 steps from springs rise water. Bright rooms, comfortable and pleasant beds. Breakfast was delicious, tables beautifully set. It was convenient to use the bar on the first floor of the hotel in the evening hours. I especially want to emphasize the responsiveness of the staff.

We stayed as a couple at this hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived around 7:00 PM. By the time we had dinner at 7:30 PM, most of the food was cold and the selection was quite limited, with only a couple of side dishes, chicken, and fish. Drinks for dinner were available only for an additional fee. We were really looking forward to visiting the spa area and specifically asked for the sauna and pool hours to be extended by an extra half hour. However, the spa turned out to be disappointing, with a small pool and a Finnish sauna meant for only two people, and even that was cold. In the evening, when we returned from a walk, we discovered that there was no hot water throughout the hotel. Furthermore, our room had a very strong unpleasant smell in the bathroom. When we came for breakfast the next day around 9:20 AM (ending at 10:00 AM), the pancakes were no longer being replenished. However, overall, the breakfast had a more diverse selection of dishes compared to dinner.

The staff was friendly, and our room was clean and spacious. However, many aspects of our stay were disappointing and negatively affected our overall experience.

The hotel with its wonderful renovated facade and modernized rooms is exactly right for getting into the historic Spa feeling. The rooms overseeing the whole valley, the park and colonnades without being blocked by other buildings feature a fantastic outlook, even topped by sitting on a balcony (only on some floors). The room size is generous, and so is the bathroom (some even with windows). Next to the friendly receptionist a self-service with mulled wine and Christmas cookies underlined the hotel's eye also for small hospitality gestures. The pool and sauna have inviting opening hours. The hotel is easily reached by the eco-friendly trolleybus line 7 from the railway station, so leave your car at home.

Spa hotel without clean bedsheets and without towels. Seriously. They didn't even know when clean bedsheets and towels can be provided. Had to spend 4 hours on the road for nothing! We had to stay for a night just to have a relax-time, but had to cancel after arriving hotel being informed that hotel doesn't have any clean bedsheets and towels and they don't know when those will be provided. Think that, you arrive a hotel you booked and fully-paid a month advance after a long car trip and you dream having relax time in your room and afterwards in spa, you did the "online checkin" as hotel requested a day before in order to have fast checkin in reception too. So all you want is to enjoy your stay which will last only 1 night. You arrive hotel, eventhough you have so called "online checkin" -which have to speed up checkin in process-, you wait 15 minutes in reception. After your check-in done, you are informed by receiptionist that hotel ran out of clean bedsheets and towels and not sure when they will be delivered. It's not a joke. Spa hotel, without clean bedsheets. We had to cancel on the spot and turn back. Moreover, we had to chase after our money refund for a moth. Had to have various telephone calls just to be refunded! Total disaster. Also in Booking.com system, hotel put cancellation reason as "host fault", which is not true. We "had to cancel" due to hotel's fault. My tip for future guests; Before you book this hotel, call and ask if they will have clean bedsheets and towels when you arrive, just to avoid surprises.
