Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe smell was bad just in the entrance of the hotel. Our hairdryer was not working. The reception personel gave us a new one.
The breakfast is fine. The tram stop is 100 m away. There is a supermarket 50 m away. You can easily park your car in the street after 9 p.m. The reception was very friendly. Our check in time was too early and the reception supplied the breakfast for us.

HungaryParking is very difficult in the area and there are no free parking spaces at all for the guests. Also, the dinner was very disappointing, because there was only a selection of 8 different types of foods - and 3 kind of soups. The menu was the same on both days, no variety! To make matters worse, on both days the hamburger was unavailable and also the soup of the day was unavailable too. I think this is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.

TurkeyWe had problems with the wi-fi and when I tried calling the reception I could not get a reply. When I went to the reception, I learned that the phone was not working. At first, they said they could not do anything about it but when they got more complaints, they called IT and tried for an hour to fix the problem. I had a similar problem with another hotel and they immediately tried to solve it, but here one person's complaint was insufficient to call the IT person.
Breakfast was great and the room was comfy. The location of the hotel was good as it was in a silent neighborhood. It was really close to tram and bus stations and in good weather, one can even walk to Charles Bridge or Prague Castle.

BrazilWhen we arrived there was a weird smell in the reception's corridor, but I didn't smell again during my stay. The reception closes at 21h.
The room was big and there was a small living room with a sofa. Everything was clean enough for me. Also, the room was quite and warm. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. It was simple, but had everything I needed. The staff was nice. They gave me the checkout 2h later for free.

Czech RepublicThe odour from the breakfast grill filled the whole breakfast room with unpleasant smell that gets in your clothes and made the breakfast - while fine in terms of food - an unpleasant experience. This would be a reason for not coming back.

BulgariaToo bad the restaurant that was next to the hotel was still in re-construction, but hopefully they will finish the work and open it up again (I hope to try it next time!). I can't think of any other problems.
There is a very nice breakfast and available paid parking near by (you should reserve a spot beforehand, by sending a message to the hotel). Location is great - easy access to all parts of the city by tram and there is a metro station near by as well.
