The breakfast was overpriced so I just bought milk and cereal for the mornings. The pillow was a bit too big and soft for me. I tried to fold it but it didn't work. I appreciate this is a personal choice though. My main gripe was that no one replaced the toilet roll all week so I ran out on my last day. Fortunately there were also tissues in the bathroom to finish off, otherwise I would have had a predicament. I would say this is a serious oversight by cleaning staff so it loses points for that, would have been much less if I hadn't had the backup tissue option.

Staff were friendly and room was pleasant. Great location for what I needed and very close to supermarket. Only a 10 min walk into Spandau town for restaurants.

Nothing in area, no bars or restaurants but train station close by to take you to where you want to go. Paid Berlin city tax on top of accommodation fee.

Good sized room, 2 single beds. At back of hotel, very quiet location. Some noise from hotel garden below but not really a problem. Helpful staff. 5/10 mins to nearest train station which took us to centre of Berlin and Olympic Stadium.

A very nice hotel in Berlin-Spandau. We went to a concert at the Zitadelle which is about 25 minutes away by walk. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and the breakfast (paid extra) had many options. There's ample free parking on the street, there's no need to use the paid parking provided by the hotel.

This was NOT a hotel issue and was NOT the hotel’s fault, it was a booking.com issue. Since I live in the US I used booking.com to reserve the rooms, and the site would not let me reserve two rooms with one person each; it kept defaulting to two persons per room. It probably was something I didn’t enter properly, but after multiple tries, I finally gave up and left it at two persons for each room and figured it would be straightened out when I got there (it was, with minimal confusion). I had to pay room taxes based on four people instead of two, and the desk staff was very apologetic about this; but I assured them I was already aware of the extra cost and it wasn’t a problem, especially since the price was still a good value. Next time I stay there, I might have my daughter & son-in-law take care of making the reservation since they live in Berlin.

Very quiet area, delicious breakfast, friendly & helpful staff, short walk to the bus stop at which the bus comes frequently, easy bus trip to the train station. Love the regular metal door key instead of an electronic card. I stayed here last fall and had the same positive experience, thank you!

Could use some outside garden maintenance, though I shouldn't really complain because they at least had a garden which many hotels do not.

Bed was a bit soft.

Very handy to S-bahn and stores, but quiet with lovely view of trees giving impression of being in a park. Breakfast bar showed extra touch--love those tomatoes and mozzarella with basil and balsamic vinegar. Staff very helpful with a small medical emergency, arranging taxi, knew just which hospital to send us to, found a pharmacy that was open on Sunday.

a bit far away from Berlin city ( approx. 30 mins) if a daily tourist, but regular transport. a minor thing, but it’s a quiet room….except when cleaning staff vacuuming hallway @0830 and hitting bottom of door repeatedly.

The room was small enough but big enough for my needs. I missed a fridge with additional drinks and feel your bottle of water should be complimentary not €3.40. My stay met all my essential needs and I enjoyed.
