Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe kitchen needs some basic items like a dish drying rack (although not having one seems to be the norm in Europe) and paper towels for any cleanups needed. The TV in our room only had Netflix and YouTube streaming options (log into your own account). We ended up streaming from our laptop, which was fine with us. Lastly, there were 2 pillows provided on the 1 bed: 1 was very fluffy and soft, while the other pillow was extremely flat. The flat pillow ended up being mine and it gave me neck and shoulder aches each morning. I would have loved either another fluffy pillow option or something not flat.
The apartment was 2 blocks away from the central train station (München Hbf) which was very convenient for us. Check in was easy, with the front desk being staffed 24 hours. The apartment itself was extremely clean, including the bathroom and bedsheets. We washed our dishes by hand, but dishwasher tablets were provided if you wanted to use the dishwasher. Sponge for dishes and dishwashing liquid also provided. There is an oven to cook and once we figured out how to use it, we were able to heat up food almost like a microwave. It rained 1.5 days and the front desk was able to provide an umbrella for us to use, which was appreciated. 25 minutes walking to Marienplatz (just a quick walk for us New Yorkers). Neighborhood seemed safe at all hours.

FinlandThe bed - it was hard and difficult to go to bed. There was only one chair in the room. Either of us had to sit in the bed. It was not comfortable for old people.

United KingdomStay should be more than 7 days to avail free room cleaning. Fresh towels and extra bin liners are available at the reception if you go down and ask.
The room is spacious, kitchen has everything you need from cutleries, cooking pots and even dishwasher pods. Staffs were nice.

United Kingdom1. See above 2. Always a crowd of smokers hanging about right at the revolving door. One individual in particular who seemed to be there every time we entered or exited. ( staff member?).
Proximity to Hauptbahnhof and public transport - which was also a bit of a disadvantage due to horrific building opposite. (Not Hotel’s fault I acknowledge ). But we looked out at this. Quite depressing.

BulgariaThe location of the hotel, however central, is very poor. The neighborhood was dangerous and unpleasant. We witnessed a fight that led to one party bleeding on the pavement, right in front of the hotel. It was really disgusting having to walk over traces of blood to get into the lobby. The room could have been cleaner.
The hotel is very close to the train station and an easy walk to the city centre. It was great being able to leave our suitcases in a luggage storage room and having an assortment of hot beverages in the lobby available for free. The room was equipped with all essentials and was very comfortable.

TurkeyThe area where the hotel was located was not a very nice neighborhood. However, it was not possible to be so close to the train station and expect quality. It was safe though.
The hotel is very close to the city center. even closer to the train station. There are markets and shops very close by. Since it was an apartment, there was kitchen equipment and it was sufficient. The refrigerator was big. It was a clean and comfortable room.

United KingdomWas quite noisy as it was on a main street. The fire alarm went off, but not in our room, so we didn't hear it for a while. Would have been missed by someone hard of hearing, and there were no lights flashing in the room to help a deaf person.
Good location. Nice clean tidy room.

NetherlandsThe hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. Comfy beds and no more than 10 minute walk to the centre. Also a Lidl only 2 minutes away, which is open from 8 am till 8 pm. The kitchenette worked properly and the fridge was big and even had a little freeser department. The combi microwave/oven did also work perfectly.

JordanThere was an issue with the fire alarms, apparently, and we were warned when we checked in that if it went off, we'd pay a very steep amount. At some point, we got a call because the water kettle almost turned it on.. shouldn't the fire alarm turn on from smoke and not steam.. you'd think they'd be able to differentiate. We could hear a lot of noises from the other rooms at all times, so it was kind of hard to sleep. They only clean the room every 3rd day, so if you're staying a while, this might be annoying.
The location was good, really close to the main station. And the complimentary coffee/tea was excellent. The size of the rooms was pretty good as well. You had everything needed in the kitchenette, including a really big fridge. Most of the staff were super friendly. The tv in the room had netflix and a few other options. It's also possible to store your luggage if needed.

NetherlandsThough we enjoyed the hotel stay and the location, it could have been better if the television had an option to access YouTube / Netflix / Amazon Prime. Asking this option to the hotel team, they quoted that they are working on the setup globally. Hope this fix can help customers to choose other options.
Location near Munich Main Station and walkable to tram station, bus stops, supermarkets, and various restaurants. It is also accessible for one-day trips to nearby attractions within Germany and or other countries. As this hotel has cooking options, a couple or family can enjoy self-cooking as well.

GreeceDuring our week-long stay, despite being informed that room cleaning wouldn't occur, we desired a refresh of towels and sheets. Furthermore, we found the room to be overpriced considering the available facilities.
The hotel's proximity to the main train station greatly facilitated transportation. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent, and the room was spacious and tidy.
