Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RussiaA bit challenging when staying with small children: Entry to the hotel is through the restaurant, which sometimes makes it hard to get through with a stroller. The elevator is also quite small, I could barely fit in with the stroller. And another point that surprised me was that there was no room service during the stay. We stayed for 10 nights and had to take out the trash by ourselves and use the same sheets and towels. And finally, sometimes it was quite noisy because of the concerts taking place on the beach. 4 out of 10 nights the music was playing quite loudly till late in the evening. I guess it's the downside of being so close to the central beach. The rest was perfect.
The location is just 200 meters from the beach and promenade. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor is very good, and the prices are quite reasonable. The suite is very cozy and clean. A nice kitchenette, with a good variety of kitchen utensils. The fridge is quite spacious, compared to some other apart-hotels I've been to.

NetherlandsWell as said, the rooms on the other side of the hotel had a terrible view, and no balcony. The room was easy suitable for 3 persons and had a seperate bed room. The facilities were all ok. 3 (minor ) things could be improved: 1. the cleaning of towels is not done during your stay. 2. The restaurant does not charge your meals to your room (strange). 3. On top of the tax for tourists we had to buy some Binz card. I still wonder what that card was good for.....
The hotel styling is very nice. The beach is a 1 minute walk. We had a balcony (other rooms not) and a nice view of the hauptstrasse (other rooms terrible view). Though the prices are high, compared to the other hotels in Binz it was very reasonable. The bathchamber was modern and clean. Also it had a bidet. The water from the shower had so much pressure that shower itself almost rocketed into the sky. Very good, though there was some variation in temperature. There was a small kitchen available. There is not much nightlife in the area, so at night it was quiet, except for some fool who thought it would be nice to shout out load. Under the hotel was restaurant Rialto. Real Italian comfort food. I can recommend the mixed grill, and my wife (off course) the mixed fish. Though the location of the restaurant is perfect, the food very good the owner is clever enough to keep the prices very moderate. The consequence is that form 15.00 the restaurant in front is about fully occupied. We had a very pleasant stay.

GermanyThe room was spacious, and the location is great. The buffet breakfast had lots of varieties. The only thing i can suggest is that, it may be best if they can set up aircondition especially it's a tourist area for summer vacation.

United States of AmericaThe Esplanade side of the hotel had a wonderful balcony situated above the main walking street. Exceptional views of the water. Street musicians played violin, piano, sang opera…day and night. The experience was amazing!

GermanyIt was very loud and unpleasant to sleep because of that. Because of summer, the room was expected to be hot, but not even a ventilator was provided. Too expensive for one night.
It is close to the beach.
