We had a pleasant stay and liked almost everything. This could be better: the breakfast was good but pretty standard. The bicycle area in the garage also stored some metal frames and objects that could be removed for safety and easier access.

The hotel is elegant, welcoming and is in an excellent location. The staff were lovely and helpful. Behind the hotel there is a quite large public parking lot, but they also have an own underground parking with a bicycle area. We had a dog with us and were pleasantly surprised to find a small matt and a bowl in the room. One more good thing is that there is no traffic on the street by the hotel so it is really quiet at night.

Furniture was large dark heavy wood which made the rooms feel smaller. Half the cable TV channels listed didn't work. Unfortunately we were woken at midnight by guests shouting and slamming doors.

Great location. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Room was a good temperature. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Safe parking in the underground garage.

I upgraded my room twice for a small sum to queen standard however as I booked for four colleagues I think one of them was allocated this room as three of them arrived earlier than me.

The information on booking.com said there was air conditioning, but our room did not have air conditioning, just a floor fan.

Hotel felt a bit old and could do with an update. Internet was very unstable and extremely slow, i.e not usable. At checking out, it turned out that they knew about it and that it has been so for a longer period. It really upset me that they had not informed us when booking. I would have choosen another hotel.

Too many flys around the breakfast buffet.

It’s a good place, NO air conditioning but the family room was good in general. The breakfast was good too and the staff was friendly. They provide us fans because the room was really hot, too many fly’s came when we open the windows so keep eyes on it. The location was great! Thank you for having us!

There was no wi fi or ability to pay with card due to system failure. Things often go wrong however it would have been nice to have been told before we wasted time trying to use and pay

We were there on a warmer day and even though our room had an oscillating fan, the room stayed warm all night as there’s no air conditioning (typical of most local hotels and homes, I’m sure).

Great central location, Luther Haus and Malancthon Haus both just steps away, and the Luther churches are a short walk. Hotel rooms are a bit old and tired. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety of things.

Location, cleanliness, saunas

Location was ideal for someone exploring Reformation history in Wittenberg. Breakfast was good but some days they were very slow at replinshing what had run out

Breakfast was superb , the table settings and restaurant first class and the service was great. The underground parking with automatic opening door and lift access to the room was also appreciated. Altogether, a very enjoyable stay.
