Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaCasa Camper is perfectly situated in Berlin, surrounded by many excellent shops and restaurants. With the S and U-Bahn being so close by it's easy to get anywhere, even by foot you can walk to many famous sites like Alexanderplatz and the Museumsinsel. The space on the seventh floor is just amazing for work, snacks and drinks, overlooking Berlin and accessible 24 hours a day. The rooms are wonderfully designed - highly thoughtful and practical. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

IcelandVery happy with my stay. The only negative thing to mention is that the room had the option to be adjoined to the room next door and the adjoining door was not sound proof. During the last night I could hear the person next door snoring in the night. So maybe ask for a room that is not set up that way.
Chic and modern hotel that is centrally located in Berlin. Excellent service and friendly staff. The facilities include a small gym and nice sauna. And the lounge in the 7th floor is great, they offer coffee, tea and fruit free of charge, open 24/7.

United KingdomThe only minor thing was the Hot Chocolate machine didn't work despite some attempts to repair it.
Good location in the Mitte area. Unfortunately the local underground is closed due to work ongoing but easy enough to get to by alternative transport. The hotel has the room numbers on the blinds and a bold red statement on the internal locations. A handy lounge area exists on the 7th floor with free tea/coffee and certain items makes it a relaxing area with a great view out over part of the city. The floors are serviced by two lifts controlled by key card. Breakfast had a great choice and served by a happy and professional staff. Some great coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

IsraelAir conditioning was not enough for the warm weather that hit us. I think they only turn on the AC later in the year. They brought me a standing fan that helped greatly.
Location is excellent - in the Mitte. Staff were smart, nice and went out of their way to help. The open lounge on the top floor was an excellent place to work and hang out.

United KingdomThere was an awful smell of drains coming from the shower room and toilet. This persisted throughout our stay. We would have asked to change rooms had we been there any longer. Room 26!
Hotel is in a great location with really cool rooms. Perfectly located for the trains and underground with plenty of great restaurants nearby.

United KingdomNo English channels on TV. Free food as advertised on top floor was limited. Free tea and coffee, bread, croissants pastries and fruit (apples and oranges only). This was sufficient, but advertisment is perhaps a bit misleading.
Adjoining rooms with my family was a bonus. Great space.

ItalyThe free open bar on the seventh floor now offers very few free options, making it difficult to have quick snacks without spending unreasonable amounts. The absence of the previous sweet and savory assortment available on the seventh floor made the hotel less economically competitive and similar to many others.
We returned to this hotel after 2 years, and both the service and the facility are always impeccable. Cleanliness, tranquility, and comfort in minimally furnished rooms are its strong points.

GermanyRoom design was a bit unusual (but ok). Breakfast was available a la carte for 25 Euro per person, which I find expensive, particularly since there are so many other options in the area. Price was very high, but this may have been due to the Berlinale.
Good hotel, modern and clean. Beds were good - unfortunately I did not have time to use the other facilities (sauna, gym) or the lounge on the 7th floor where some snacks and drinks are provided for free.

BrazilIt was disappointing to discover that one of the coolest things the hotel used to offer no longer exists: complimentary 24-hour food and drink service for those arriving in the middle of the night feeling hungry. There were juices, yogurts, sandwiches, sodas, coffee... You just had to go there and help yourself. Obviously, this was included in the room rate, but it was very cool and friendly. Now, the service still operates 24 hours, but almost everything is paid - and it has become very expensive. A small juice bottle costs 7 euros - absurd by Berlin standards. What a shame! The fitness room is also a disappointment: it only has two treadmills and a piece of equipment that barely works. However, the hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist you with practically anything you need.
The hotel is really cool - among the nicest options in Berlin, offering excellent value for your money. The rooms are spacious (the fact that the rooms and the hallways are all painted in red adds a lot to the coolness), the bathrooms are excellent, featuring powerful showers. Additionally, the nearly 360º glazed terrace provides a wonderful view of the Mitte area.
