The property does not offer breakfasts, does not have a luggage room and is a bit old-fashioned. The value for money, in my opinion, is not good, comparing to other possible offers in Berlin.

Very small bathroom and shower. Depressing entrance and doorbell didn't work. At 6.30 each morning the restaurant empties their bottle bins so you will be woken up by crashing noises for 5 minutes.

This hotel, despite its commendable cleanliness and advantageous location, significantly underperforms in areas crucial for a pleasant stay. The receptionist's demeanor is notably discourteous, lacking the basic civility of a 'good morning' greeting, and her interactions with guests are more akin to snapping than conversing. This unprofessional attitude is compounded by her inability to communicate in English, a fundamental requirement in the hospitality industry, especially in a hotel that seems to cater to an international clientele.Furthermore, the hotel's infrastructure leaves much to be desired. A key issue is the non-functional elevator, a significant inconvenience for guests, particularly those with heavy luggage. Being forced to carry bags up to the second floor is not only physically taxing but also detracts from the overall experience of comfort and ease that one expects from a hotel stay.While the cleanliness and location are praiseworthy, these positives are overshadowed by the lack of basic courtesy and hospitality from the staff, particularly the receptionist, and the practical challenges posed by the faulty elevator. For a hotel in such a prime location, it is disappointing to see these fundamental aspects of guest experience being neglected. It is essential for hotel management to address these issues promptly to ensure that guests have a more enjoyable and hassle-free stay in the future.

From a cheap hotel in Berlin one can't wait a lot. The staff weren't very friendly, the bathroom wasn't spotless, the walls were 0 percent soundproof. However, everything was okay.

The linen and the towels were snow white and perfect like in a 5-star hotel. The room was cheap, the price was fair. The location is good.

Strangely, the room had an attached kitchenette which didn't seem to be usable. You have to walk some distance to the nearest Cafes for breakfast. The staff are not very talkative.

Large room, Large and comfortable beds, (plus desk, 3 chairs), clean, good flow of hot water, good and easily controlled central heating. Walking distance (12 min) to main train station, 15 minutes to the Brandenburg gate, and nearby bus and tram stations. Our room faced an inner court so was quiet. A supermarket across the street.

The receptionist was rather unfriendly. Very uncomfortable beds, mattress was rock hard and pillow too soft. Blankets were also too thin. Floor was creaky and there was a musty smell inside the room. The linens weren't washed properly because I found hair strands from the previous guests. Room looks like it hasn't been renovated in a century. It has a certain old charm to it but still very dull. The rooms looked very different from the pictures provided on booking.com.

Very convenient location, 10 mins walk from Berlin Central train station. There's a tram stop and a Penny supermarket right across the street also.

That we got woken up at 2am by a drunken person kicking our door in because he thought he locked himself out, no fault of the hotel of course.

Good location close to the main train station, shop across the road. The room was big, more like a small apartment with two rooms, a small kitchen and a separate bathroom.

Not that easy to find the entrance Can get noisy at night No way of storing luggage for a while after checkout Can get very hot in summer. Last time we stayed there was a freestanding fan, this time there wasn’t.

We had a great time and slept fairly well. You get a bit of shampoo and soap. Bed sheets clean. We loved the water cooler at reception with cold water on a hot day. Lovely restaurant right next door and supermarket across the road. Bus to Hauptbahnhof just outside and bus to Zoo across the road.
