Since I had stayed in a hotel the night before, I would've liked to have shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom since I did not bring it.

I appreciated the proximity to the main bus and train station as well as the calm environment. There was surprisingly a lot of space in the room and the shared areas of living room, dining room and kitchen were spacious and tidy as well. Snacks were also offered on a donation basis.

The room was beautiful and very spacious and well equipped. The bathroom, shared with only one other room, was just next door and clean. Everything was well thought through, there was tea and coffee in the kitchen as well as drinks and snacks against a voluntary donation. So I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I would be keen to come back! The location was very central in a beautiful quiet area. Peter the host was very attentive and friendly.

The tenant was very warm and friendly. He explained everything i wish to know. Rooms are big and the kitchen is well equiped. The cafe near by is a must see and taste. Easy acces to town and train station.

nice quite location in the centre of the city. from a driving standpoint Freiburg is not the most easy city to get in with a car and thus getting there was quite difficult

Beautiful house with generous amenities provided by the host. The bed was comfortable and our host offered us tea and coffee in the morning, as well as having the facilities available during our stay. The shared bathroom is only shared between two rooms, so is no inconvenience. The location is good - only 5-10 mins into the centre of town, and the area feels good. I would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely nothing

Great location within walking distance of the city centre. There is a common kitchen, living room and garden you can make use of and the rooms are very tidy and well equipped The host is extremely friendly, we arrived by car and were allowed to use his parking spot under the building, he provided a thorough explanation about the room and what to do in town in very good English , although he stated it wasn't that good :-), all in all the best value for money I’ve had in a very long time. I could really recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay in Freiburg.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive. The location is perfect, close to downtown and in a vibrant neighborhood. Though our room had a shared bathroom, it was spotlessly clean and not an issue at all. Without a doubt, I'll be returning to this place for my next visit.

Nice atmosphere in the house and friendly host. The bathrooms are shared but there is 1 for 2 rooms which was totally sufficient. Nice little garden.

There’s not one thing I can think off that I truly didn’t like about the place! But I will say that the stairs inside are a little steep, so one has to be careful while using them. My grandmother who I’m traveling with did fall on the stairs at one point, so just take care on the stairs.

First, the location was great! it was really close to the main train station so it was easy to walk or catch a tram to everywhere that we wanted to go. Next, it was very comfortable and cute! The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious, the facilities all worked great, everything was clean and organized, and the garden was absolutely the best place to relax. Lastly, the owner, Peter, was absolutely wonderful! He showed us how everything worked, helped us get settled in, was super kind and understanding, and was super fun to chat with. He also provided free snacks and drinks in the dining area, and was quick to provide help with whatever we needed.

I was welcomed at the door and made to feel at home. The facilities are clean and everything works well. I was close to transport if required but I was able to walk to all the places I visited. Make use of Google maps and you will be pleasantly surprised.

The only very small thing was that the stairs creak very loudly which meant I was woken up by fellow guests and also meant I was loud when I got up in the morning. However, it adds to the authenticity and character of the place and was fine in context.

The location was perfect and all the facilities and amenities were great. Peter was very friendly over messages and the check in was straightforward. There was a drinks and snacks fridge which exceeded all expectations and the coffee was top quality too.
