Very pleasant stay, our second time here. Nice big rooms or mini flat, very clean and quiet even though it is right next to big road. Perfect location for center of town and two great restaurant literally in the same building. Also great value for money and very nice manager.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the amenities. Photos can often be misleading, but my room lived up to the photos. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit. The property is also centrally located, so I could get wherever I needed to go by foot.

Everything about Hotel Havana was great. Location is perfect for easy walking to anything in Mainz. Despite being located on the main road, with the double glazed windows closed there was no traffic noise. A portable Air Conditioner and fan were provided. Windows open on old church side provided plenty of fresh air. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, with an offer to use the washing machine as we checked in. Rooms were serviced and fresh towels provided each day. 3x great Restaurants located outside the front door.

It could have been a tad cleaner, since I found whisker trimmings in the sink and some stains on the bedding. it was a little confusing about where to check in, but the host was very nice. Location is on a busy street so there is lots of traffic noise if you need to keep the windows open.

Very good easy location for walking to old town and various sites. Bathroom was modern and bed was comfortable. This is more of a boarding house than a hotel. My room had a balcony.

The room was a bit dark. Would be great if there was a parking arrangement with nearby parking with price reduction.

There was quite a bit of noise from the street during the night and we had to have the windows open because of the heat.

The property is more like a number of private apartments. It was very clean, private. We arrived during a heatwave and while the was no air conditioning, they had opened the windows and brought in two fans to help cool it down. the location is excellent, by the Fischtor Turm and a block from the Dom.

Overpriced. No reception. No soap in the shower. Kitchen very minimally equipped, the coffee machine required pods which were not provided. The dishes were not particularly clean. Housekeeping doesn’t look professional. Lots of noise from street and restaurant downstairs

It is facing actually the busiest thoroughfare of Mainz, which runs directly below the windows along the river Rhein. Thus it is extremely loud if a window is open. With all windows closed and NO AIRCON, it was very very unpleasantly hot in the room. The division walls to neighbouring rooms are not sound proof, young neighbours coming home after midnight, and we heard everything as clearly as they do themselves.

Spacious room and bath, kitchenette is well equipped. The studio is carpet-less, thus good for people with dust allergy or similar condition. It is very near shopping centre and eatery of various tastes. Bus stop is just a minute's walk away.

Not really a 'hotel' - for example, no breakfast, limited reception hours (set check in time) - if you're expecting hotel facilities, even basic ones, you won't find that here. It's more like an apartment building/boarding house & for that it is very good.

Large room, quiet inside building (some traffic noise with open windows but didn't hear other guests). Convenient to river, restaurants, sightsering, shops.

Super noisy mobile AC which had a pipe attached so had to leave the window open and the road was also super noisy. I hardly slept. The bed was also not comfy, only one very hard pillow. Hardly any shower gel…
