There did not seem to be a lounge area.

It was central for the village. Even though we were in the back of the hotel we could not hear the trains. Staff were very helpful informing me of free parking close by.

The room was a bit chilly with no way to adjust the heat. Also there were a number of small steps between the two bedrooms and between the bedrooms and the bathroom which were easy to trip on at night.

The room had a great view overlooking the Rhine River and was very comfortable, especially the beds. The included breakfast was excellent.

We had a room with the terrace that overlooked the river and it was amazing. We were able to sit and just enjoy the view and weather. The room was very spacious and clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast that was included was very good and the chef was also accomodating. We will definitely go back next year for longer

Bathroom was really small and I would have loved a bath, but that's not a big deal. Would benefit greatly by having tea and coffee making facilities in the room, though the gentleman on reception kindly lent us a kettle when asked.

A lovely, large and nicely decorated room with a small balcony overlooking the Rhine. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and despite being so central it was very quiet.

Rooms to a good standard but rather brightly decorated. Bathroom very retro but a perfect shower when used.Quite expensive for basic B&B but very good value for that area.

Location was amazing with a view of the Rhine. Sat in our room looking at the view in the evening. Rooms comfortable with everything required for our stay and a good breakfast. Perfect location on route for cycling the Rhine and good secure bike storage. Friendly and helpful staff.

It isn’t the cheapest place to stay, even though it literally was the cheapest place to stay in St Goar when I travelled. Beyond that, zero issues. The hotel deserves more recognition.

The hotel and room were both quaint and romantic, filled with grand staircases and tiny, red-carpet wood-varnished bedrooms. The location is fantastic, right on the riverside, in the centre of town.

It does get quite hot in the room but there’s a desk fan.

The location was ideal! There were multiple sockets in the room. We are welcome to sit in the downstairs area to relax or work etc.

The bathroom was a little small. There is not on-site parking but there are local spaces 200 meters away for €5 a day.

The location was excellent beside the river Rhein. Breakfast was very good and the room very comfortable.

There are no grocery shops nearby.

I liked everything about the property. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean. The location was exceptional. There are plenty of places available around the property for parking. The ferry station and the train station are within a few meters from the hotel. There is a good Asian restaurant nearby for take-away.

There is nothing we did not like. The lobby is still a bit shabby, probably not yet fully renovated. There is no elevator.

based on some of the comments of former travellers my expectations were not too high. We found the hotel fully renovated. We particularly liked the location. The view from the room on the Rhine river is beautiful. It is a pleasure to sip a coffee and enjoy the view. The chair and the small table in front of the window are excellent for that purpose. The staff is very kind, breakfast is good.

The location was perfect as it’s close to the railway station and ferry point. just walkable.

The bathroom is a bit of a squeeze but is how it was built. However, it was clean and well ventilated so manoeuvring in the space is only an inconvenience.

The river view from the quiet room, pleasant host, great breakfast. The closest on street parking is about 50 metres from the entrance, near the river ferry. The elevator made for easy room access.
