Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast: The bread and rolls were not nice, the coffe mashine needed constant attention (full trester and etc...) during rush hour in the morning prior to the start of the trade show (fiberdays)
The location is close to the RMCC and next to a shopping mall - excellent for trade fair exhibitors and visitors

Had issues making it to the hotel because of rail strike, they made it difficult and time consuming to change dates. The staff didn’t seem to have the competency nor understanding to make simple adjustments to the dates.

I didn't like that there was no laundry service on site.
I particularly like the location. Very close to the city center. Also the breakfast was okay.

No outside seating or patio/terrace area, but given the location, it’s understandable.
A modern, well-appointed budget hotel, just next to the central station. The location is perfectly situated to access all public transportation and 15-20 minutes walking distance to most major Wiesbaden sights: Kurhaus, Kurpark, Markt, etc. The double bed was comfortable and the room was clean, quiet and the air-conditioned. Above all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Many thanks for the enjoyable stay!

The staff forgot to tell us about the rules regarding cleaning and replacing towels, so one day we had put the towels on the floor and no towels were substituted. However, this was saved quickly.
The staff was extremely sweet and the location was excellent.

Incredible location, literally right next to the station, a couple of minutes walk from all of the platforms. Really great staff, very helpful and attentive.

WiFi - you only get slow speed for free. That's rather old-fashioned!

Time it took to exit the parking garage. The machine wasn’t working and we were stuck in the garage for an extended time. Checking out was a hassle as some members were charged twice for their room. And I was being double charged for breakfast which was already included in my meal.
The convenience of the parking garage under the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel mostly my room. Also the availability of English to stations on the TV. The mini fridge, and closet space were convenient.

the room was dusty, the breakfast is very basic. The hotel is quite expensive for the category, they could include such poor breakfast in the room price at least.

The kitchen stuff had a very hard time explaining us what my milk allergic brother could eat at the breakfast. This information needs to be more easily reachable, just like in restaurants

The hotel was rather impersonal probably more a business hotel. At breakfast none of the staff smiled or looked happy
Being next to the station meant I didn't have far to walk to catch a bus or train. The room was large, clean and well organized. The bathroom was modern. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of hot and cold food
